Higher than I thought, but I think UConn will devour Purdue's guards. Imo, Purdue also needs a big game to win, but UConn really does not need much scoring from Clingan to do so. UConn depth also is superior especially big man Johnson
We didn’t beat anyone, man. Whoever says we would have made a run is basing it on nothing but feelings. We had 8 bites at the apple and we lost 7 of those games. You're entitled to the opinion that we weren't a GOOD (no one said Great) team. But the numbers don't lie. Finished the season as a top 25 team in the metrics. Had the team clicked earlier, they don't lose against Michigan, Dayton and BC. Your boy Jenkins was a missed foul away from being 2-0 against 3 seeded Creighton when UConn got smashed in the same building. Pounded other bubble teams when we needed to in Hall and Butler. The Big East had a 1, 2 and 3 seed. It's not like they went 1-6 against bubble teams in the conference.
Give the team some credit, they finished strong. November and early December is what cost them a bid.

If Smith could not get ball over half court last night cleanly, wait until he gets rattled by UConn guardsAgree with you and I don't know what Goodman is thinking. Even if Edey has the advantage over Clingan Purdue doesn't have a single player who's competitive with UConn at any other spot on the floor. Loyer is going to get destroyed and Edey won't do them much good if the game is a bunch of UConn run-outs and 3s.
Only hope for Purdue is to take the air out of the ball, dump it down low, hope for foul trouble on Clingan, and then keep dumping it down low.
Would not surprise me if UConn wins this by 18. Would be shocked if they lost.
I’m Giving Smith the benefit of a bad game. I’m a huge fan. Newton will be extremely tough though. If Smith could not get ball over half court last night cleanly, wait until he gets rattled by UConn guards
Reminds me a bit of Bill Bradley. Approximately same size, good shooter, nose for ball, movement, always in right place at right time. When UConn picked up Spencer from portal, I did not give it much thought, but you could see how disappointed Pikiell was. It has become apparent that yes he is obnoxious, but impacts a game with assortment of things; gets a lot of 50/50 balls jumping on floor fearlessly, has a nice jumper, is a strong offensive rebounder and makes big plays at crunch time. UConn had a great group returning, was bringing in a super freshman guard, but Hurley added to that blend adroitly with game changing Spencer.
Fitting comparison right after Dollar Bills former teammate gets much deserved election to the Hall.Reminds me a bit of Bill Bradley. Approximately same size, good shooter, nose for ball, movement, always in right place at right time.
He did have a lot of trouble with Alabama's length and athleticism. I do not expect a repeat of that against Purdue thoughWhen UConn picked up Spencer from portal, I did not give it much thought, but you could see how disappointed Pikiell was.
