Some of those were tough hooks. Not many centers even force him to have to use his counter move over his right shoulder. He’s done it successfully 3 times tonight so far. Damn he is tough!

Clingan has done a fine job. He's held Edey as far out as he can, has not allowed much in the way of second chances. Nothing you can do to stop that hook other than what he's doing.

Have been a couple of points in the game when you felt that U Conn might get to double digits and open it up, but they haven't converted and Purdue has hung in there.

Still feel like U Conn will break it open in the second half and once they get a lead it will snowball but you never know

I can't stand him but Cam Spencer is playing a really good floor game.

And again I love Karaban. Not scoring but doing the little things. In the first half had a huge block hustling back on the break and led to an open 3 for UCONN, 5 pt swing.

And just now kept an offensive possession alive but fighting for a loose ball rebound.

Missed his last 6 shots before he got fouled. But more than that he got beat on a drag screen lob 2 times in a row. He is clearly tired.

I did not have "Johnson effective against Edey" on my bingo card. I expected the fouls etc. Did not think he would score on the one thing he can do on a basketball court. But too fast to the rim for Edey.

You know uconn is great because I swear they’ve been shaky from 3 this entire tournament, and it has never mattered
