Tariq Owens
We have two guys starting for Final Four teams. A former player in Owens a former commitment in Doughty.
Only in Marillac's world does Doughty start. You may want to get Bruce Pearl on board with your Doughty fascination. Guy never made it on to campus, Tariq was here 3 years playing 2.

And Doughty was a Lavin recruit anyway ..

Be 100 percent proud of your kid. Sing to the heavens about it. No one would have thought anything about it. He would have come across as mature, the way parents should act.

Afterall, this is your kid's moment. It's as if the dad did not want to be left out. He interjected himself into something he could easily have avoided.

The majority of us wish him luck in the final four. Heck, I was rooting for TT because of him, and because I dislike Gonzaga.

If any of my kids get in a position to succeed in something they love, I will have my phone locked away. I will enjoy being a passenger going through the waves of emotions and their ultimate path to happiness.
Not really funny. I dislike ND and Georgetown too. I could go on.

Huh? Doughty started 27 games for Auburn this year. He is fourth overall in minutes per game at almost 6 minutes more per game than #5. He played the third most minutes today with 33 for a team that plays TEN guys 10.8 or more minutes per game. He held Herro to less than half his average today.

In his defense, I believe Doughty was ineligible his first year at VCU

He played 33 minutes...third most. Was it worth splitting hairs? He averages 4th most minutes on the season. Maybe Pearl wanted him off the bench for energy or to avoid foul trouble. He was on the court when it counted and forced a steal to send it to OT.

Wasn't trying to split hairs just knew he didn't start today and didn't know he started 27 games this season. So you can definitely call him a starter just don't think he has anywhere near the connection to St. John's that TO has.

Just so we are clear, my dislike for Gonzaga has nothing to do with their Jesuit affiliation, and all to do with their record against SJU in the NCAA's..

That and the fact they are Jesuit..l kid, I kid.

Since we are matching sarcasm for sarcasm, I will add that I still value a Jesuit higher than an atheist. :)

Are Jesuits considered Catholic?

I look at it thusly; if one of your loved ones gets possessed by the devil, or Fr. Harrington, would you seek assistance from an atheist, a Vincentian or a Jesuit?
