I don't recall seeing Mussini play tonight and I did not see him on the bench.
Did I miss something? Did he play? If not, does anyone know why not?
Thanks.
I believe he has the flu.

Fire Boeheim! One major factor in tonight's game was we finally showed offensive coaching. As I suggested to use the high post against their zone. Excellent passing and drives off the foul line by Ahmed and Yakwe.
Our rebounding was spread out evenly - 42 from 6 players.
I thought our zone worked in the first half. Got a little nervous wihen Coleman scored three easy layups off Yakwe at the start of second half. Fortunately all their starters were in foul trouble.
Surprised White from Nebraska was a no show, especially after seeing his offensive game in previous games.
Ellison keeps improving with another sound game.
Bashir Ahmed finally playing under control.
, maybe because it was against a zone defense. Hopefully the coaches are getting on his ass and he's learning from his mistakes. Watching films helps.
Owens able to stop some drives with his consistent blocks.
Freudenberg getting more playing time and will get better.
Kudos to our kids and the coaching staff.
I have gone back and forth more times than the SI Ferry on Ellison. Best I can come up with is he is a mistake player that needs minutes for the good to outweigh the bad.

Our video coordinator (do we have one) should be compiling a montage of the good and bad so that these kids see what happens when they move the ball, let the game come to them and play with intensity.
That said, terrific effort by the entire team and staff. Well done

But at least we should see Ellison in our team's future. Most of us, me included, ruled him out with next year's team.

Like I said the problem is with Simon coming and Lovett and Ponds not sure there will be enough minutes for his good to outweigh the bad.
Did anyone else hear Gminski say we lost our last game to Penn St by 48 pts? It may have felt like that but was only 16.
27 assists, 9 turnovers = usually winning

I don't think we used any time outs tonight.
So there is one thing we can criticize Mullin for tonight-wearing sandals in snowy, frigid upstate NY. Hey Chris you are not in Cali anymore, B) you'll catch your death of cold. hmy:So, who is New York's college basketball team?
IT IS ST. JOHN'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
