St. John's vs. Seton Hall Game Thread

I'm no doom and gloomer but this is getting hard to watch. I'll still be at all the home games though.

Anyone else sick of hearing about Garett's 96 mph heater every game?

yea i dont get if your a lefty 18 year old throwing a 96mph fastball why your playing basketball. doent make sense

A millionaire going to college for free.......I can definitely see why he is playing basketball.

The Seton Hall 6'9 freshman Mobley looks better than Harkless today. Moe is not close to NBA ready...Pope let him know that tonight.

I really, really feel sorry for these guys. It has got to the point where it just is not fair. They can play hard but when you are limited offensivly and have to play a passive zone to avoid foul trouble, it is the receipe for bad loses. I really hope that Lavin is out telling recruits that their is a lot of playing time and that this year was a learning expereience for these freshman, other wise it is going to be a long while until we reach the tourney. And I am a true believer in this team, but it is getting hard to watch.

The 1997-1998 Ohio State team won 7 or 8 games and lost like 20 or 22 games. The following season they made it to the Final Four with a few more pieces and an experienced roster. I'm not saying we're gonna make it to the Final Four next season, but it's clear we need a few more pieces to the puzzle.

This season is tough and a bitter pill to swallow, but I feel we're gonna have some good news in the spring and that will springboard us going forward.

I don't like losing at all! Do not like one bit. I've said it before.... Every dog has its day. Some of these teams are gonna have hell to pay in due time. So, they better get us now. It won't be so easy in the very, near future.

Hate losing to the hall like this. SJU just played horrible and didn't defend anybody today. Need bodies.

Admire your positive view, but hope Lavin has that recruiting class he refers to. imperative to shore up inside D and add some three point prowess.

I think it is more then just bodies. We need bodies that can put the ball in the hoop.
