That’s good news, right?

I may be in the minority but I don't think Jose to St. John's is likely to happen as it is not in his best interests, He and Posh are two peas in a pod (look a their stats as a comparison) and they are both point guards. Jose has been playing an average of 35 minutes per game for 4 years. It is more beneficial for Jose to be lead PG for his pro ambitions and I don't believe CMA can guarantee such as Posh is our PG.
I may be looking at this the wrong way, but it would seem to me that if Alvarado comes back to college, it will be because the feedback he got is that he may or may not get drafted. If that is the case, not sure what a 5th year in college will do to change that feedback as he's pretty much shown what he can do consistently for 4 years already. If he comes back, maybe he has reconciled himself to playing overseas in which case a last year in college with a team that can dance and do some damage while being at home with family might be quite attractive.
At 23 years of age, if he comes back, I would think he’d go to a school that he thinks will put him in the best position to have a shot at the league. He will have a number of attractive options to choose from. Frankly, I’m not sure why he’d choose us.

I think we'd be higher than Sweet 16. We'd be a nightmare to bring the ball up against.Amaseinyourface post=433616 said:Boo Harvey post=433612 said:NCJohnnie post=433611 said:Brooklyn Red wrote:

This is all just hypotheticals, but if Alvarado were to choose us, who’s to say what our ceiling would be? Maybe I’m higher on him than most, but he’s that much of a difference maker IMO, where if he were to pick us we’d become a sweet 16 type team.

Yes, 2025, but I think they might lose players anyway just because of bad press. They are being ripped on social media.Moose post=433643 said:L J S A post=433639 said:Hartford have any good players? They just announced they are dropping to D3.
Did I read gradual drop? I thought by 2025?

Based on his stats, it appears we would have been better to keep Dunn.
