I'm not getting all the enthusiasm for Russell, a scorer in a low conference, when there are other threads questioning the potential impact of Smith and Mathis.

He went for 26 against Baylor.

I hope I'm wrong, but with power of hindsight I feel like the staff bit on Mathis too early. It was right move at the time, but I think Williams would have been better for us.

When Williams entered portal I was excited, but then it was pointed out that Pinzon's development may be hindered by bringing in another kid. If staff decides they liked what they saw in the Puerto Rico games to not pursue another ballhandler, I'm good with that decision.
