So, looks like Penny gave him the boot to free up a scholarship to get his former starting PG Tyler Harris back from Iowa State.  Have you heard of any St. John's interest in him?  The 20 PPG catches the eye, however not a great shooter, so looks like he was a volume shooter.  I do really like the 2.7 SPG.
Rumor, but nothing tangible

Soon as I ask you, Zach tweets about it.  Are you Zach's "Source" on this haha... I'm j/king.
Never

I like that the staff is really aggressive in trying to find a guard.  Some good options out there.  I was just watching some Davion Warren footage after Paultz mentioned him, I really like his length and his his aggressiveness on the offensive end, he's 6'6 and has a decent ball handle and can attack the rim.

Confused, thought  I asked Paultz  of all the offers we have out for recruits is there one we have a good chance with he said 0 guess the question wasn’t worth an honest answer but with all his knowledge just thought he might have-heard who
we might have had a good chance with one of those many recruits

This post is in tremendous need of punctuation.  I tried reading it several times and my head hurts.

Well Boo, E.E. Cummings also gave short shrift to 'punctuations'.
So, you know.../media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png.

Maybe USguard is a James Joyce fan--try reading the last chapter of his Ulysses--Peneolpe (Molly Bloom's) Sililoquy.  Nearly 25,000 words with 3 punctuation marks. Great read but you need a guide to get through it.  Best way to understand it is with large quantities of Guinness.

Ok,so you know my age! I have tons of reading glasses which I can not find most of the time. I do enjoy the wit ,makes me laugh.  Now back to basketball.

Just a quick question for "those in the know", is the staff waiting for the Alvarado situation to clarify, or would they take one of the other combo guards they are looking at if they pop first?

St. John’s reached out to Arizona De-commit Shane Dezonie SG.  4*.

Fwiw I’d much rather see us grab a kid like this than wait around for an Alvarado unless he’s a sure-thing. Literally offering starting minutes to a top notch SG at this point.

I'm sure the Staff wears NCAA-approved footwear for the grind, plus a sturdy net below to break the fall. /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

I'm still not sure how there's starting minutes for a SG, with Stef, Wusu, Mathis and Pinzon on the roster.  If Champ were to leave (which I don't think he will), would Pinzon slip into SF/PF position that Champ seems to play here?

Starter minutes available for somebody who could be better than all the guys you mentioned.

@jakeweingarten

Former Memphis pledge and Hampton transfer Davion Warren tells @Stockrisers he’s heard from Georgia, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Arizona State, St. John’s, Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Iowa State, Wyoming, Coastal Carolina, North Texas, UTEP, and Georgia Tech.

Alvarado obviously has not yet entered portal, but chatter is Kentucky has interest. Staff is smart enough to look at quality combo transfers, recruits v depending solely on JA.
