SJU Transfer Targets/Possibilities

SJU obviously still in the Aidan hunt, but it would be interesting to know who the competition is. Maybe “Mack doghouse” works to SJU advantage? If it does, next question is what does he bring to the table? Nice size for sure, but legit to wonder.

At least he has the physical tools that we are seeking
Our staff has done a great job in player development
He was a high level recruit coming out of high school
I've got to think that, if the kid is motivated, he can be coached up

Watching his tape he kind of looks like what I hope Wusu can become.  Wusu might even be a little ahead in terms of development if you look back Smith's freshman year.

we have to trust Mike Anderson and his staff to use their experience and expertise to make the right decisions.

I’m in their court!

He was a handful for us last year at Carnesecca.

he had his way with our guards if I remember right. It was a Saturday afternoon game on Fox. Dunn hit huge shot to tie game before Lamb won it for the Caramounts

I'm impressed you remember that far back.
I can hardly remember the BE toruney.

The brain is programmed to retain traumatic experiences. SJU fans have the market cornered in that category.

Myles Johnson from Rutgers, and Wahab from G'town!

Can there be any better big men to help us?

Fyi...can't transfer within the same conf, so Wahab is not even a remote option.

There are some locally bred options who haven't entered portal but if you look at their situations, they may welcome what appears to be an upgrade.

And Johnson (who is an unbelievable kid) graduated with an engineering degree and is looking for a graduate engineering program.  He's from California, I'd expect to see him at a PAC 12 school, maybe USC or UCLA (unless he can transfer within the Big 10 as a grad student, in which event he'd have some fine options there as well).

Stef smith is excellent and would be very solid pickup to take Dunn’s place.  Very solid guard and can score.   Would def also like to add a guard with 2+ years eligibility as well, with GWill being a senior.

Can he announce this morning so I don't have reload for the next 8 or 9 hours?

Stanford has arguably the top engineering program in the country
