#1 priority has to be retention. Gotta keep at least four of Wilcher, Zuby, Dunlap, Taylor, Luis.
#2 priority is pouncing on the early targets that are from non-NCAA teams that are available.
#3 priority is waiting and shoring up for the next waves of portal entrants as the Spring begins

Not surprising at all. When the kid is injury free he has super star written all over him despite what many on this site have said. He was responsible for some of our more recent wins and when playing well creates match up problems for the other team. Would be a major loss that I doubt we could replace.

That would be incredibly disappointing if he goes.

Rick won't over pay for him. Plus when he's in on defense it's like 5-4.

Luis may very well overvalue his worth to the team.

Tell that to Seton Hall. Hoping we don’t lose him to another BE team but more likely a power conference.

Wonder if Pitino views Dubar as a stretch 4 type or more of a wing, more importantly if Luis and Taylor see a guy like Dubar competing for minutes directly with them.

Obviously Cliff would be a massive help defensively, though the other guys mentioned like Pope, Dubar, Joseph definitely will need be coached up on that end to put it nicely

Cliff and Dubar would be significant defensive upgrades to Soriano and Ledlum/soph version of Luis.

No one is irreplaceable but RJ has such raw talent and really started to get it together near the end of the year. It would be a shame to lose him after the progress he showed but this is the world we now live in.

i liked luis he had potential but he is more flashy and no well passy. He never passed or looked for the open guy. i felt like he was trying to make the highlight real. taylor, he was good but if he goes i wont miss him. zuby, wilcher, and brady are the key three for me

I’ve seen Dubar and while a good player, at this level he’s a role player not a difference maker and certainly no RJ Luis.

No contest….. Luis by a first round NBA draft pick.

I’ve seen Dubar and while a good player, at this level he’s a role player not a difference maker and certainly no RJ Luis.

most of the good players in our league this year came from smaller leagues. Tough to predict how he would translate at this juncture
