Two things:
1) I thought you were only allowed to transfer once
2) If Luis is leaving for the money, don’t let the door hit you on the way out
l’m sure he’s getting NIL here. But what Pitino offers is worth the difference he’ll get elsewhere. Especially the exposure.
We have the NIL to match I am sure however the question will be how high do we want to go and wether or not he wants to stay.
Dubar and Cliff would be quite the way to get this started.
Would bring nice if that Vegas $1M NIL tourney gets field finalized. Could only help with recruiting the portal if we are one of the 8 teams
In this window, thanks to NCAA leaving door ajar kids can leave and not sit out. Rest assured kids like RJ and advisors normally look to sweeten their NIL “salary”. Sometimes people overplay their hand, so we’ll see. The “world of negotiating” as Beast referenced earlier.

Would love to get Dubar I remember going to the Hofstra game and that kid torched us I was impressed said to my step dad at the game if that kid hits the portal we better be all over him.

Wonder if Pitino views Dubar as a stretch 4 type or more of a wing, more importantly if Luis and Taylor see a guy like Dubar competing for minutes directly with them.
Obviously Cliff would be a massive help defensively, though the other guys mentioned like Pope, Dubar, Joseph definitely will need be coached up on that end to put it nicely

Dubar is definitely helpful insurance and leverage for us in talking to Luis & Taylor.

Pitino is very familiar with his game as he has torched his teams twice.
I think adding a player coached by a very good coach is a plus.

Would not bother me one bit if luis and/or taylor left. We can do much better.

HOWEVER........the best players may be still playing before declaring so we need to know real targets v early entrantsNice so we miss the tournament and we are getting all of our portal work done before the best teams since they are still playing and can't focus on it! Almost a blessing in disguise to get snubbed!
