Rysheed Jordan

Glad he is committing now so even if we don't get him we can turn our attention on other potential recruits. And even though Temple is in same conference what does Tulane and football only ECU have to do with helping us unless previous poster was just being facetious.

I think the additions of ECU and Tulane put us in the driver's seat.

Duh, Temple is in the same conference.

Duh, is right! Am brain-locked. So many conference changes going on, I can't keep track of them. I see Temple, and I think A10. (Actually, I might have been thinking about Jermaine Lawrence when I wrote that.)

Not sure but UCLA lost to San Diego State. Unless Rysheed's mind was already made up about them, that loss probably didn't help them as from the game recap SDSU had a good fan contingent show up to the game on the road.

Again, I think it's down to Temple and SJU.

Lavin being out in CA at the same time. Hopefully he sent some of his contacts at UCLA to greet Rysheed while he was out there. I'm sure that would make him feel special/wanted.

BTW, another Philly recruit (I forget his name) chose St. Jose's over Temple recently. So I hope that's a continuing pattern.

Fwiw....A friend of mine in LA who follows the program very closely says UCLA won't get Jordan. They have too many other guards there and coming for him to sign there. It looks like it's St. John's orTemple.

Tony Chiles was in Philly today as Rysheed Jordan won co-MVP at the FamJuice Classic.

Dunphy was there for Temple.

Wasn't he supposed to announce this weekend?

He said last Sunday he' announce in in 7 days. Maybe tomorrow? Or maybe he'll just postpone again. Never know.

Guess so;

“@jmverlin: @rgsaunders1 Rysheed said he could announce his college decision at "any time." Could be tomorrow, could be...whenever.”

If he was paying attention to his listed Top 3-

UCLA made a strong comeback to beat an underachieving Texas team
Temple got bested by the best team in the nation and
SJU came back to beat a basement A-10 team

I wouldn't be surprised if he delays and takes a look at more schools.

You'll also be surprised that many of these kids have an inflated belief of their abilities, and feel they can elevate the play of a team.

LOL - I doubt one game is going to make his decision
