Rysheed Jordan

I watched a YouTube video of one of his HS games last night, he played great but after the game he went up to the camera and said " This is my f'IN city , get the F out of here"-- had to laugh

Can't wait to see how the folks that are hard on D'Lo handle Sheed. Two peas...one pod.

Gives a new meaning to the term explosive backcourt. Lots of fire

No but he had the ball on a string, and hit a few step back 3 balls too.

Amazing how flexible our standards become when exceptional talent suits our purposes.

Please stop with the hyperbole.

Rysheed was suspended on at least one occasion for his on-court antics (possibly the time he handed the ball to Brandon Austin while the game wasn't even over).

But his high school and AAU coaches all spoke highly of him.

Let's not act like he's a problem kid.

That was the game I watched last night, he was dribbling out the clock with 25 seconds left and handed the ball to him at half court- never saw that before-- right after that he said what he said to the camera-- not his best moment for sure-- lets hope he learned from it. His skills on the court looked tight though.

I saw that too and there is never a time for that stuff, my father would have personally came on the court and dragged me off. But to Jordan's defense him and Austin seem to be very close.

I was shaking my head for sure, but he's a kid lets remember that . I guess if you are going to recruit studs, you have to live with a little baggage.

Along with every big time school you can think of.

Unless of course you're a Duke, Kentucky or a few other schools who will simply bench and then replace a player with that kind of attitude. Do you realy think that coach Cal or coach K would ever put up with that?

Yes I absolutely do think Coach K and Calipari would put up with that.

I had forgot about Cousins. Good one. I don't sense Quinn Cook has an attitude, but he does his share of wolfing on the court.

Heck! An old-school guy like Dean Smith tolerated a hotheaded-Rasheed Wallace.

Most coaches will deal with some form of attitude, if the player is the 'goods.' As, long as it doesn't become too much of a problem or distraction, then many coaches will tolerate it.

Living in Boston 40 plus years ago, my psychiatrist boss said to me, "The problem is when you have a Ted Williams attitude and you're not Ted Williams.
