Rysheed Jordan

Alot of reading between the lines of
Many of the experts plus some friends at the collegiant level! They were dead on with us going back after wood, Borgault getting cleared.... Amongst others

Huh? That doesn't fly.

If anything, there was some mention of UCLA. But there hasn't been any, mention of Temple, per the "experts."

I think we can assume that UCLA is out of the picture

Not if they make the right hire. And Jordan is still weeks away from his announcement date. And he's been known to blow off self-imposed dates.

One of our 'expert boarders' said he was a Temple lockLOL.

I would love to have Jordan but everything is pointing to temple!! Our only saving grace is the same was happening with sampson and obekpa!!

I would love to have this kid but come on now he is really dragging this out.Can not know at this point .where
he. wants to be. Perhaps he likes the attention Either way there must be plenty of pg have not as highly ranked that are waiting to get a chance Look at all the upsets with teams that do not top 100 players Ranking players is far from accuate

Jaren Sina is having in-homes with Seton Hall and Alabama.

I would think that Lavin could out-recruit both of those schools in his sleep.

I'd take Sina as a backup to Branch. Higher basketball IQ than Greene and a much better passer. We don't need home runs. We need smart players and kids who can shoot.

We need a true PG - someone who thinks pass first
We have such a poor shooting team that we need someone who has the ability and willingness to get the ball to the right guy in the right place on the court
We don't have a true PG right now - Branch, Greene, Harrison, etc are shooting guards that we unsuccessfully disguise as a PG
I really hoped that Branch would fit the bill - he has been a real disappointment to me
If Sina can do that, sign him up!!!

They odds are we not getting Jorden. Would like to go after Sina as a backup plan especially w the uncertainty of Dee.

We are not in this, probably SH bound. Pray Harrison comes back.

I hope Harrison comes back but even if he does, he does not solve the PG problem
To me, that is our greatest need for next season at this "point"

Could it be the reason Coach Lavin has not been more aggressive in pursuit of Sina is he knows something about Jordan that we don't?

We are in deep do do if Harrison doesn't return. Think about it, who becomes the shooting guard next year?

Isn't Momo about due for another transfer? :)

What if Lavin promised Jordan mucho playing time? Or even an assurance he would start at point. Let's face it, if he's that good then why not?

What are you basing this off of? Assuming he crossed off UCLA, its 50/50

Check his twitter timeline.

He's retweeting Temple fans 10-to-1. They're showing him a lot of love.

You cannot dismiss what Khalif Wyatt did this year. And Jordan was basically at every Temple home game watching him do it. The kid loves Philly to death. SJU probably is better suited for him because Temple will have more roster turnover. But Temple did what we haven't done with our local recruits. Dunphy was at practically every single game Jordan played. That does not go unnoticed.

I go back to Lavin making a statement months ago saying that all would be well if we don't get any '13 recruits. A head coach should never utter those words.

I don't care who is back next year but a recruiter of Lavin's caliber should never whiff on all targets in a calendar year.
