Rysheed Jordan

Fresh article has JL still available. One day I'll be surprised, but I will never figure we get player Ucla after.

buddy of mine that works with Temple Athletics said it's done deal RJ is staying home (Temple)
His source was one of the assistant coaches.

i said the same thing i know a couple of his friends from philly they also say its a done deal.

You also said St. John's would be in the CBI.

Sure anyone told him something. If he goes to Temple (which, I'm still not sold on), then he'll claim he knew all along, when it was just him trying to be a nuisance.

I am surprised your buddy in the Temple Athletics department said Jordan would pick Temple, and not SJU. And one of the Temple assistant coaches is his source no less. Aside from being stat monkeys, athletic department employees are frequently passing along opptimistic news about the program..

I am going to go way out on a limb here, but if you have this stone cold info on Jordan, the SJU staff would have it as well. Then why make such a big push and waste everyone's time.

Vaux (PA) will be playing in the championship Friday at 2pm in Hershey.

Are there any chances that anyone from our staff plan on being at that game?

I will be attending that game as well, as the team Vaux is playing, Johnsonburg, is about 8miles away from where I grew up/live.

Relax bud. Just writing what i heard. Your comment is uncalled for. IF RJ promised/told Temple coaching staff he is 90% on board i doubt he said the same thing to St.Johns.
True/not true it don't matter. He don't pay my bills.
STJ will move on.

I am very relaxed thanks for your concern, bud.

I am a little confused with your response however.

Why was that comment uncalled for? I was questioning your claim of "done deal". The staff is pushing pretty hard for a kid who now is 90 percent Temple (as opposed to done deal in your last post).

typo- meant 99%. leaving 1% as a wild card, I was told done deal. Once again, don't take it to the heart it's just what i heard.

Kranmars
if we get him, great
but even w/o him we're moving in the right direction - plus, as you might agree, one recruit one way or the other should not matter - now if this were the Roberts era, one recruit would be a major deal since there were no major recruits.

allthe best

We are adding 3 "new" players next year; Sanchez, Gift & Hooper. Who knows what the spring and summer brings. We need a good recruiting class in 2014 to start evening out the classes.

FWIW.... His picture is on the cover of the latest Recruiter's Handbook.

I use to be a frequent subscriber to the Recruiter's Handbook prior to the heightened of internet recruiting sites; message boards and personal info; and, our downfall in recruiting with Roberts (lost my fervor for recruiting). Not to mention, the local bookstore that use to carry it in my area closed a few years ago. I also felt it was easier to stop by there, instead of ordering it online. I did order a 'winter recap' or something of that nature during the winter of 2011 after we hauled in our 2011 class. That was the first time in a few years (and the last) I've placed eyes on the handbook.

They (Brick Oettinger and Rob Harrington) also would have a piece on a recruit in each handbook. Usually, a good read.

Mr Jordan put on quite the show today in the state championship. Not sure what his exact stats were, but definitely finished with 30+pts. The team he played did not have a starter over 6'2, but he was still impressive nonetheless. He didn't show much of an outside game, but he didn't really have to. We need this kid, and would love nothing more than to see him wearing our uniform next year.

The best thing I loved about him....while the rest of his team was on the court celebrating their victory with each other, he was the very first person to go over and shake the other team's hand. Showed a real high level of class and maturity!!
