Historically we are almost always the one on the outside looking in with these recruiting battles against blue bloods for top tier talent. But something tells me that with Rick as the great equalizer, we'll win at least some of these battles.
I think it's no longer relevant if you score big with high school graduates that are 5* because every year there will 4* players that have 2 or more years experience who enter the transfer portal that can have a bigger impact on results.Love to see the activity by the staff..things seem to be moving in a positive direction with some higher level targets. If staff can do this in short amount of time imagine what 24 class should look like. That is my focus in all honesty I’m hoping for solid to good recruits this year who Rick can coach up and compete for tourney bid with and then 24 really make mark and announce the johnnies are back!
Nicely phrasedPitino was visiting Mgbako which usually means an in home visit at the player’s dwelling, not a campus visit. If you hear anythin, it will be “It went well. Pitino outlined his vision…”
While I think we only have a ”punchers“ chance, this is early in the first round.
Bat shit crazy should be the nickname for the board. Just wait until the first bad loss of the season.Interesting observation!
With Ray Morgan's bat shit crazy analogy, the treatments leave the player shooting blanks for the rest of their lives.
No more three-point shots but mostly misses right under the basket unguarded.
BTW, I went through the "procedure" many years ago and, had Rick done the same and had the Lavin experience he never would have become our coach because he would have shot blanks and never been blackmailed.
For me, the amoral of the story is I never ever worry about getting my cummaras pregnant anymore.

Cormac Ryan is expected to be in Chapel Hill on Tuesday,
Good with regard to Dunlap though because they are running out of openings.Ugh.
Ray Boom Boom Mancini one of my fav fighters of all time. Saw him in the Garden 40 years ago. To stay on topic hope we get Demery and Tommasson to fill out the back court and couple of wings and 1or 2 power front court types.Much appreciated.
A little Boom Boom Mancini left hook and we’re golden!
Jack,
We're doomed!Cormac Ryan is expected to be in Chapel Hill on Tuesday,
And Hubie may be more keen on Cormac Ryan than Brady Dunlap for 'job security' reasons.Good with regard to Dunlap though because they are running out of openings.
Lmao I gotta say I am glad you are backJack,
Given your age, I would suspect that PSA means "public service announcement" to you. I'm also sure that you have a semenly better shot of filling the basket.
However, not being able to follow Ray Morgan's analogy during this boring gap between recruits commitments is no reason to post such an obscene 4 letter question on this illustrious forum.
However, I am sure that once you have had as many fingers probe your anus as many of us have you will be less anal in your response.☝
Haha I know we’re aging ourselves! Followed him during his career.Ray Boom Boom Mancini one of my fav fighters of all time. Saw him in the Garden 40 years ago. To stay on topic hope we get Demery and Tommasson to fill out the back court and couple of wings and 1or 2 power front court types.
Why where did Rocket go?Lmao I gotta say I am glad you are back

I'll make sure I see him with my Johnnie's gear onCormac Ryan is expected to be in Chapel Hill on Tuesday,
Everything I read -- and I know this stuff changes -- has MM going to Louisville. Payne had a horrific season, but he's a well connected guy who a number of pros credit with their development, including Julius Randle. Now, Payne can't hold a candle resume-wise to Pitino as a head coach, but I can see kids wanting to play for him and if Louisville is driving a brinks truck to make a splash with MM, not sure we can compete with that (among other suitors who haven't emerged).
My faith in all of this is for any talented player -- and most all these kids think they are going to be pros -- Pitino at least gets serious consideration in many cases because no one can credibly dispute his ability to coach and develop players.
