Paultz, do you think we get Demary as well?Ha! Nah, just referring to shooters in hand already plus Niagara kid I think they get
I wonder how he would feel w so many experienced guards re impact on his minutes off bat. They seem to have a shot with SD, but that could be a factor since all these good kids want big minutes right away Imo.Paultz, do you think we get Demary as well?
Would be tough to lose out on Demary due to minutes concerns especially considering we're really banking on a handful of up-transfers to seamlessly transition to power conference basketball. With the way the portal is and how power conference teams are prioritizing experienced guys from lower levels over 4 star Freshmen, would be tough for Demary to slide into a 25+ minute role on a good power conference team in his Freshman season.I wonder how he would feel w so many experienced guards re impact on his minutes off bat. Met Ray great guy! If Kim, doesn’t die I think he could’ve been an all timer. I think he would’ve beat Bramble. Also, probably would’ve gotten Boom Boom vs Sugar Ray fight end of the decade. Though by 89 SRL was a blown up middleweight.Ray Boom Boom Mancini one of my fav fighters of all time. Saw him in the Garden 40 years ago. To stay on topic hope we get Demery and Tommasson to fill out the back court and couple of wings and 1or 2 power front court types.
This is a topic that will affect a lot of guys. One of my nephews was 48 when diagnosed with prostate cancer and I was 62 when I got the news. Based on my own experience, a biopsy isn't bad at all. It sounds worse than it is and believe me, I'm not the stoic type when it comes to pain. So if your doc recommends a biopsy, have it done straight away. The big decision is whether to have your cancerous prostate removed or treated as Ray describes. There are pros and cons to each modality with respect to the disease itself, and surgery does impact sexual performance. Personally, at my age I could care less if I'm shooting blanks as long as it feels good, but as those who have had a prostatectomy know, it's a little more complicated than that. If you opt for surgery, go with robotic rather than open. It's more precise (especially important with regard to sexual function), and has shorter recovery time. Another thing to keep in mind is that some prostate cancers are more fast moving than others. And while prostate cancer is one of the most treatable cancers, if left untreated too long it can be deadly. The foregoing is just my opinion based on personal experience. I'm not a doctor.I'm hearing you. Also scored a 6 on the Gleason scale. So it's a daily pill and monitoring. A friend who has a 7 had to go on hormone treatments and radiation. He is better, but the hot flashes have him empathizing with what women go through. I have heard the surgery is a nightmare. I'm sure it was tough on Lavin. Things may have been different if he didn't go through it. My doc said there is a world of difference between a Gleason score of 6 and 7. To stay on topic, it's not like the difference between a 38 and 39% 3 point shooter. More like comparing a 30% shooter from 3, and one that shoots 40% from 3.

I am hoping Conway won't scare off better players. We needed some momentum, but can't help but wonder if we took Conway a tad too early. Can't help the time of course and you risk getting no one, but would Ryan and Dunlap be a better twosome? Feel like we don't get both with Conway here, since I see him as a SF. Or do we think Conway wouldn't even be able to be a primary backup?
On the Demary front, if you can get him, you take him and if Thomasson goes elsewhere I can live with that. Timing will be off I'm sure but I don't take Thomasson if I know I had a real shot at Demary but Thomasson being here sours him on us.

A bunch of losers! Then you have folks, Johnnies fans or not, tweeting stupid and nasty BS to Pitino whenever he tweets anything.Multiple Twitter burner accounts spouting recruiting bullshit are more annoying than a Mike Anderson half court offense
I know you’re out that way so maybe you’ve seen more. I’m not really high on Dunlap. I think we can do better with freshmen in future classes or transfers now. Honestly think I’d prefer Mahoney from this class. We needed some momentum, but can't help but wonder if we took Conway a tad too early. I'm NorCal so haven't seen him in person. But I figured 17-18 ppg for the best team in the state was nothing to sneeze at.I know you’re out that way so maybe you’ve seen more. Obviously as others have said, signing a 4 star would bring attention and momentum, but I’m fine with going a different route than Dunlap personally.
He is dangerously frail and a lot of the clips I’ve seen that aren’t just his highlights show him getting picked on inside and on perimeter. Not much strength or athleticism and while we love our shooters there has to be more than just that. Not sure what he guards on the next level.I'm NorCal so haven't seen him in person. The kid I'm highest on out here is someone ranked in the 200s in '24 and only has a couple low major offers as far as I can tell, so I may not be the best scout.
I texted Zach (he actually responds sometimes), and he said STJ is working on visits for Ryan and MgbakoJust so I can start my recruit / transfer worry clock, what guys are close to visiting this weekend & next week?
Brady Dunlap is slated for the 22nd, Noah Thomasson for the 25th/26th.
Anyone else?
Cormac Ryan? Or is he leaning UNC?
Glenn Taylor of Oregon State was said to be coming in soon.
Jacob Meyer buzz has disappeared. Guessing that's because we may have a shot at Silas.
We need another Big: Any shot at all with Papa Kante, or should that be filed under the fuhgeddaboudit pillow?
Thanks DK.I texted Zach (he actually responds sometimes), and he said STJ is working on visits for Ryan and Mgbako
