Career stats vs Posh
Needed a kid and I am sure Rick was more comfortable with his kid. But when people start that we finally got a guard that can shoot thing or start bashing Posh, stats are similar.
Will be a decent pickup but must get another combo guard to go with him.

The fact that you didn't provide their most recent year, or mention that Jenkins sat out a year before playing for Iona, just confirms you're looking for attention. If anything it's very reassuring how much he improved under Pitino.

Completely different players to say the least!
Daniss Jenkins was Iona's best offensive player. He was a consistent scoring threat.......Posh was not.
Compare this year's stats and they may look close.....until you realize Posh scored more on drives than jumpers which embellish his true stats.
Daniss Jenkins is 6'3 and in terrific shape and can play both guard positions.......Posh?
Rick Pitino's comments about Daniss says it all! If he could clone one player on his team it would be Daniss Jenkins.
Rick said Jenkins could have easily played on his best Louisville teams.
This is an upgrade from Dylan Wusu as far as player comparisons.
In the end, it will be more obvious Pitino will at least replace a position that is gone with as good a basketball player and most likely better.
That is the goal.

Actually that was Clayton by all metrics (ppg, all shooting %s in a big way) but still nice to have him aboard.
