Yes, but just wanted to point out how his negativity (career stats) is something that fans should see as a positive (massive improvement under Pitino). Pitino himself said he would have taken Clayton and Jenkins to Louisville. There's really no way to spin this as something negative.he got didn’t he?
The fact Ledlum will have full official SJ visit means what I heard on it being courtesy visit was wrong. I still think Indiana seems well positioned though.
Question: is a school limited in the number of official visits it can host?
Years ago I understood there was a limit, but in todays Wild West culture of transfers it would be difficult to limit.
The point I am attempting to make is that if there is still a cap on the number of official visits a school may host then Pitino would not be wasting one on Ludlum, or anyone else if he did not believe they had a legitimate chance.
Anyone know? Thanks.
We may not be in the driver's seat, but things can change during official visits.Question: is a school limited in the number of official visits it can host?

So you’re saying the forgotten mid range jumper. Would be a welcome sign.I saw alot of Iona games last year. Jenkins was the primary ball handler although both handle the ball well. Jenkins is money on pull up shots inside of the 3 and has a great assist to turnover ratio. Clayton a better 3 pt shooter. very hard to guard jenkins in the open floor.
Pitino did the same with Walt Clayton in his freshman year. Brought him along very slowly and was not a starter at the beginning. Then, boom! He developed an incredible ability to shoot the ball. This past season he was POY and a top transfer target for Florida that didn't offer him out of high school. Thanks coach Pitino but now I'm going back to my dream school for basketball.I’d love to see Ricky P land Brady Dunlap. He has good things to say about us. I know he seems like a no brainer for nova etc, but I’m hoping Rick P’s pedigree, and immediate playing time and chance to develop under a great wins one or two of these big battles for us. We shall see. Would like a few freshmen to bring along and develop.
On Dunlap
St. John’s: “Coach Massielo and I have bonded over the phone after they came to see me workout a couple weeks ago. I got on the phone with Coach Pitino and he offered me a scholarship. St. John’s has a rich basketball history as well as coach Pitino. He is a winner and that’s what I want to do. I’m looking forward to the 22nd for a visit.”
Feels like a Nova kid to me

Exactly, plus Rick is ticked and hungry after being jilted on Clayton Jr. Lol.We may not be in the driver's seat, but things can change during official visits.

And yes I have sources in the forgotten borough having played with and against many of the current HS basketball coaches there.

50?I just turned 50
Clayton was main guy, takes a lot of pressure off. Need another solid guard to go with. Here's a stat that'll 100% convert to the Big East: Jenkins' FT% is 78.6%. That's higher than everyone on St. John's last year. Further, it was at least 83.3% (or higher) in 8 of his last 9 games, including during the MAAC tournament and vs. UConn. Also, he scored a minimum of 14 points in each of his final 8 games, which was huge in helping Iona clinch the MAAC regular season and tournament (MAAC MVP). A clutch PG is just what this program needs.
