Hello all, I have been reading this site for years for my johnnies news, thank you to all that have given the info over the years. I felt compelled to finally sign up after all these years due to the recent post. We finally have a all time coach who’s track record is undeniably one of the best in the history of the game and we are going to question the man? Maybe I’m a sucker as I’m an optimist and want the best for this program but to think that pitino is not going to at the very least keep us exactly where we have been under Anderson next year is crazy to me. He will recruit players who he will develop and have us on a trajectory upwards that we have not seen in years. It is April I have no doubt that we will be more then acceptable come time for tip off. Looking forward to discussing with all my fellow johnnie fans throughout the summer and season.

Welcome, and I agree, just getting harder and harder to be patient after what we have been through the last 20+ years as a fan base. But I agree, I have to believe that Pitino gets it done here.

mike A had his faults but he also had his connections.

Also NIL just feels like it’s starting to snowball now. It feels like just one offseason ago wasn’t as wild of a landscape

St. John’s: “Coach Massielo and I have bonded over the phone after they came to see me workout a couple weeks ago. I got on the phone with Coach Pitino and he offered me a scholarship. St. John’s has a rich basketball history as well as coach Pitino. He is a winner and that’s what I want to do. I’m looking forward to the 22nd for a visit.”

Oh trust me I became a fan watching artest and Barkley and then Hatten as a young kid and then got hit over the head with Eugene Lawrence and the rest to follow. If we hired anyone else I’d be going crazy. This is Rick Pitino, maybe I’ll be made a fool but I’ll take my chances with the man.
