Rick’s Targets

Versatility, agile, soft touch, can step out on pick and pops, would really help backup Joel and lets Zuby go to 4 full time-

Dangerous offensive post potential for this guy. Needs a bunch of physical maturity, but the tools are all there. Can really get to the basket with a variety of moves.

I would guess AZ or UCLA. UCLA has a top-notch European-focused recruiter/assistant: https://uclabruins.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/ivo-simovic/3812

"Simovic’s most notable international experience has included stops in Spain and in his native country, Serbia. He served as head coach and sports director for CB Espacio Torrelodones near Madrid, Spain. He helped the organization attract some of the top Spanish talent during an eight-year run with the program. Simovic served as the Torrelodones’ head coach in Liga EBA from 2007-09 before becoming the general manager and head coach of the organization’s U-18 and U-20 teams."

I’d probably flip that. I’d rather have this kid defending the Karabans of the conference and switching on wings than Zuby. The length will allow him to block some shots if he’s beaten.

I know, I know…I’m the same guy that screamed for three years for 6’5 Pointer to play center, but Pitino is putting me in a tough spot with these legitimately skilled taller guys.
