Two other points to add:
- During official visits, the school can pay for transportation to and from the campus, lodging throughout the visit, three meals per day and tickets to a home sports event for the recruit and the recruit’s parents or guardians. They cannot pay for non-home game events.
- If the above wasn’t a factor, the official visit can only last up to 48 hours. The official visit started sometime Thursday morning. The start of most of the races at Belmont on Saturday including the Belmont Stakes, will be after that 48 hour window.

SSG, you should get Don McLean to attend and sing your version of American Pie .
Might be tough to do . McLean is from Westchester and a Iona grad . He was a Villanova Cat but , transferred back to New Rochelle .

It's more important to see Rick Pitino at the track with Repole than a kid who's more interested in Madison Square Garden.
IF Pitino signs SW, the St. John's backcourt will be rated on a national level in the top 25. This would set a trend and incentive to future top 25 level guards when they consider S John's and being coached by a coaching legend.
