i can't believe we are actually getting this kid. One of the biggest competitors in the high school class. Dude wants to win and he will have success wherever he goes. Rick will get this kid to the NBA

Kids will be coming to St.John’s to win now. Not because it’s a last resort/safety. That’s why Slick is the best!

I was one. I didn’t doubt him as much as I doubted St. John’s.
In college the coach basically is the program
Even though they play different positions , Witcher at6’4” or close to it , is reasonable replacement for Storr as a Shooter and can play the Combo guard slot if necessary .
That’s a plus that over rides the Storr transfer . My opinion .

As good as Storr was, & I had looked forward to seeing
him grow here, last year he was our 3rd best player (?).
this year he wouldn’t start even if Wilcher doesn’t come.
If Wilcher comes -Storr would be fighting for minutes
Funny but I don’t even think about any of our ex players and at one time I really wanted to keep Storr and Gardner and lamented their loss. Not no more

If Pelle who never came, Sampson who came the next year, and Garrett who was eligible after the 1st semester, all were on Campus in September, things would have been a lot different. That's the past now let's stay focused on the present and future.

Rick would have made them earn it. Nothing guaranteed, he loves gym rats. I think the kid from Fairfield will surprise, he’s a gym rat.
If you look at the team by the end of Lavin's 2nd year there were 6 scholarship players left after Lindsey and Stith bolted mid season, all were frosh except God's Gift, and it would have been only 5 if Amir didn't put in the work to get eligible 2nd semester. That was quite a year. Never more than 7 scholarship players. The next year they started with 9 and to got 10 once Branch was eligible. Embarassment of riches.

why do they care? they assume they are headed to the big12.
If you don’t think Storr and Posh would have gotten major minutes, then you are just unbelievably biased. Your position on Posh is clear, but Storr is an NBA player if he ever commits to the defensive end. Even without that I think he’s all Big Ten before he’s done.
True, but even if that happens they'll still be competing against Pitino for NE recruits. Anyone heavily recruiting states like Jersey, even schools like UNC, should be scared right now.
