Amazing if true! No griping from my end. Incredibly pleased with how this class has turned out. I definitely reacted prematurely and am pleased to eat my words. Curious to see how the scholarship situation shakes out assuming we get Wilcher

So let me get this straight, we are likely to have 13 division 1 caliber players on the team next year? I feel like on some of Lavin and Mullin’s teams we were lucky if we had six or seven.
Edit: On Mullin’s first team I’m not sure we had five, but that wasn’t his fault.
Until I see the actual announcement with the Rick GIF I won’t believe it. In fact, until it’s October 15 and all bodies are present and accounted for I won’t believe it. This has absolutely nothing to do with those who tell us what they hear but it is a product of what being a fan of St. John’s has done to me. 
I am so jaded but I am just going to have to get use to a HOF Coach who doesn’t take no for an answer and is a winner.

Boo, A few of these years I remember getting to the Garden early and I would watch the other team warm up and they had like 13 guys with multiple bigs. The St. John’s “squad” would come out and we had 9 kids and 3 of them were student Managers. I know I am exaggerating just a bit but…we had a bar league CYO feel.
Come to think of it, when we played Kansas at UBS tell me you couldn’t see the disparity in talent and size to say nothing of skill. It was painfully obvious. We had little to no chance. That is not a shot at the kids but we all knew.
Similar feeling to that Lavin Recruiting class with DLo and Harkless.... need to make sure all these kids make it to campus and are able to suit up before getting too excited lol.Until I see the actual announcement with the Rick GIF I won’t believe it. Would have LOVED to see Pelle play against college kids... talk about a mixtape...
For me, no. I still go with the grad student who has been in the Pitino system for a couple of years.
Pitino is not afraid to use an extended bench. Plenty of minutes to go around.
Very different situation (thankfully!), but damn are you right about Pelle’s highlights.
I 100% expect Jenkins to start but this will obviously eat into his minutes and change the overall dynamic 1-3.
