It’s a lot more than significantly better. It’s not even close. We will be contenders to make a big run with this roster. I have zero doubt that this is an ncaa team that can advance. Got everything from size to depth to coaching. I don’t even think we have a guard shorter than 6’3 and everybody on the team can shoot from almost everywhere. This is Pitino’s first recruit class but he’s outdone himself already. I don’t think we will miss anybody we lost in the basketball sense if not the emotional sense.

Is it me or is Rick Pitino getting younger with every recruit he gets.

For we fans who are “older” than 70 yr Rick Pitino and know what it is to be active & young at heart, he’s a legitimate healthy guy with a lot more coaching and teaching to offer. IMO we are in very good hands… now…
Let’s not get crazy and expect a 30 W season or a title just yet, and likely some disappointments will appear…
But clearly good is at hand AND ahead!

could be very soon. The garden city hotel is a block away and the mid week rates aren't bad so if you can make the next one definitely stay there instead of the long drive home

Remember Pitino has a pretty good coaching tree. For a senior he could be pitching it as a chance to do something post playing career. Just another carrot to dangle

Not to mention connections in many other walks of life(IE Wall street, horse racing, etc). I'm sure he'll be talking to all these kids about life after basketball, and how he can help them with that.

Would be an NCAA recruiting violation. Donors can’t have contact with recruits nor offer them any benefits. Does it happen. Probably. But seeing how Belmont Stakes is on national TV this violation would be out in the open
