I like the emotion and pride by both him and his dad. Gonna work well with SJU fans who have a lot of pride and not much to show for it over last few decades. Gonna be a lot of fun. Kid is gonna be a beast.

I’ll say this. Out of the 13 guys we have, if we’re to have to lose any of them WITHOUT being able to replace them. Jenkins would have been 3rd biggest loss right behind Joel and Dingle.

As exciting as a top 40 freshmen is, I would agree with Mug who said he’d rather Jenkins for this year alone. Maybe it’s not as If/or as that.

Played golf w/an up and coming ref…does BE, MAAC games including earning 3 NCCA tourney games this year…asked him some questions about…

I thought the same thing. He looked looked like death in March and now he looks 20 years younger.

Mr. Wilcher is a smart man. I wouldn’t first anyone more that Pitino with a guard with that ranking.

This really is amazing when you think about it. Pitino takes over dumps almost an entire roster and we go from a bottom 3rd Big East team to being a possible pre-season nationally ranked team in 3 months. Unbelievable! I feel like I’m dreaming.

Remember Pitino has a pretty good coaching tree. For a senior he could be pitching it as a chance to do something post playing career. Just another carrot to dangle
