If we don’t get some recruiting momentum soon, I’d be concerned about Soriano bolting. Kid isn’t coming back for his fifth year to play with a bunch of scrubs.

Well I give coach Pitino credit. 70 years old with an entire team to rebuild and it’s late in the recruiting season. Lots of work to do. Got a little more “exciting” than I’d like it today because I thought we were gonna land Clayton. Next sights on Dual??

I like the summary on Dual. Somebody said best two way guard in the country. However, there are also a ton of guards in the portal now. My concern is, where is the 6’9” rebounder to replace Gardner?
I have a ton of concerns right now. I’d love to land Dual. We have a whole team to fill. Kinda crazy. No doubt all is said and done we will have a solid roster but it’s quite a mystery at this point.
Don’t let one compound another. Lock up Jenkins. He can play in multiple roles.

Would be disappointing if the Clayton news is true, especially because a number of #sjubb "insiders" said he's going to St. John's. Also, Clayton himself posted a picture of MSG a couple hours ago and did the eyes emoji when he visited SJU this weekend. Could be playing games to get his NIL as high as possible, which would be a bad look since Pitino was his coach. Most optimistic view would be he's just trying to make his announcement a surprise, but at this point I'm prepared for him to go to UF and would be pleasantly surprised if he goes to St. John's.
Yeah, I asked about Jenkins earlier, if there was any buzz about him given the down-mood about maybe missing on Clayton.
I think Daniss would be a solid PG for us and hope we get him.

6'9 would be about 2.5" taller than necessary if you are looking for a direct replacement for Gardner.
I hear you.
But for anyone us, is the thought starting to creep in that maybe Rick Pitinos legacy could end up being “great college coach everywhere… too bad about that St John’s tenure though”
It’s too early to seriously have that concern. But it’s just a thought that will keep nagging at me because… well nothing seems to work out for any of my sports teams

Honestly if Pitino can’t turn this thing around nobody can. I still think he will but he is off to an inauspicious start.
