So if I disagree with people I should get threatened????

I don’t engage in personal attacks. I don’t troll. I thought was basketball forum? Every
new coach comes here and most post that the new coach farts smell like roses, then immediately turn on the coach. I like Pitino, strategy until proven otherwise is dumb. That bothers people, however does not deserve any kind of admonishment from a moderator.
In fact expecting an apology.

Again, no matter what we will be fine and Pitino is the best thing to happen here since Jarvis Elite 8 team. Hopefully not going to get admonished for complimenting Jarvis.😉

My only point with Mullin is if he can get criticized, anyone fair game. Including HOF coach who hasn’t coached here yet. And I am not even criticizing, just questioning the strategy. And I get it, we have sucked for so long people just want to believe this time is the charm.

Just a question, can you remember a new coach coming in and basically telling entire team to to leave?

I can’t speak for the moderators but I think it’s the frequent and repetitive nature of your posts that may be getting you into trouble. I’ve been there myself. I think people get your point, some may just not agree. That’s their right. Sometimes less is more.

Secondly Rick has overestimated his ability to recruit here because look how many top 50 recruits we got since Fran left. Who cares, Soriano was what coming out of high school ? Zach Edey was not top 300 but was player of the year. Rankings are a good indicator but far from everything as I just pointed out. Pitino has never had a line up of top 25 kids, I think you are confusing him with Coach Calipari. He needs good players who he will coach up as he always has done. I will réservé all negative comment on our roster For another 7 weeks until June 1 when we see how the roster shakes up. There is zero reason for us to get all worked up at this point.
And this is coming from someone who repeatedly said that I liked and wanted all of our kids to return, minus 2 or 3 who did not fit in or behave well.

Let me just add this RMN, that while rankings coming out of high school do mean something IMO, they loose most of thier meaning once a kid steps on a college court, and all of their meaning after a year or two of college ball. So, if Pitino plans on using the portal to restock the team, what a kid's high school ranking was means nothing.

To your point, development doesn't stop when you commit and individuals don't develop at the same rate and age. And rankings can't quantify work ethic, physical growth, etc.

To answer your question, no, not publicly at least. I have no idea what past new coaches said privately to the team or individual players. 🤷‍♂️

Well mostly because you disagree with a Pitino strategy 😝😝.
 
Pitino is going to put a Team on the Court in November that will be ready to compete in the BE . There should not be any doubt about that . Everything up to now , suggests we will get the Iona Twosome very soon . Why would the 2 players come in on the same day , if they were remotely looking to land elsewhere . Rick has already said his Iona Twins can play in any league . He’s Coached them for a few years , they know and he knows what they can do . None of us know with any certainty about the other issues that Pitino found unacceptable about CMA ‘s roster , excluding Soriano and Traore. And , we don’t know the Players that Rick sent packing . Maybe for non Court issues ..


Even the naysayers have to acknowledge that Pitino knows what he’s doing . Plus , Clayton Jr and Jenkins won’t miss a beat in playing Rick’s style . Recall too, these 2 basically held their own vs UCOnn and weren’t outplayed at all . It was Sanogo, Clingan , etc that did Iona in ….

Better comparison would be Traore or Keita.
Guy last coach didn’t realize was good.
Maybe Traore will be Hardy and Keita will be Brownlee.
