Sheck Wes is definitely not a bad choice. I don't know how much you keep up with today's music, but his song "Mo Bamba" is probably one of the most popular songs out right now. If you walk around campus for a day you will probably hear it playing at least five times. I'm expecting a good performance.
He's very unknown in name. I saw he's signed to Kanye's label, however he's pretty much brand new it looks like. In the past we did very well with French Montana and though Dave East said stupid things, I knew who he was and the crowd was looking forward to him. Just ran a quick poll on twitter and 51% said they do not like the choice (SJ fans). 45 votes so far total. I'm sure it would've been 80%+ approval for Dave East and French Montana in years past. Don't want to make an overly big deal over this, but the administration definitely swung and missed here for tip off after swinging and missing with the schedule and elite camp. Cragg has his work cut out for him from day 1. No more mom and pop please.
Update: 59 votes and 53% disapprove. Lol
Once again, this is for 18-22 year olds who are in school at St John's. Not you and your Facebook friends. As others have corrected you on, this guy will get kids on campus excited.
