Recruiting Impact on “Scandal Schools”

Well, well, well. Right on queue.
I have yet to see anything in these articles wher a coach like Self is on record saying yes please send 100k to so and so for his commitment. It all sounds like flimsy to me. I still think all these schools get off with a slap otherwise they will hire high powered attorneys to get them off.
Very true.

But we've also yet to see a school cut ties with a sneaker company due to the damage done to that school's reputation by the sneaker company's reckless actions. I mean if someone had put me in line for federal prosecution, NCAA investigations, and sanctions by recklessly bribing athletes to go to my school without my knowledge or consent, it stands to reason that I'd be pretty pissed about that...no?

Sorry if this was already mentioned
- a few minutes ago the NYPOST ran an article:
with the above caption...
Trying to ascertain details and it’s validity though hard to feel sorry for any of the blue bloods.

From the Kansas City Star newspaper
The NCAA is preparing to issue a notice of allegations that details multiple major violations in the Kansas men’s basketball program, The Star has learned.

The notice will come, sources told The Star, after a summer of speculation following a top NCAA official saying the organization would make findings against schools involved in a pay-for-play recruiting scheme investigated by the FBI.

2 more recruiting advantages for Kansas.

Women in six U.S. states are now effectively allowed to be topless in public, according to a new ruling by the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The decision stems from a multiyear legal battle in Fort Collins, Colo., where a city ordinance forbidding women from going shirtless in public has now officially been ruled unconstitutional.

It's an outcome that affects more than just one town. Since the 10th Circuit encompasses six states — Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, KANSAS and Oklahoma — the decision means it is now illegal for any town in those states to create a law forbidding public toplessness
Sources: Kansas has received notice of allegations from NCAA, which includes lack of institutional control. @YahooSports sources detail Level 1 allegations, coach control charge against Bill Self and a KU football surprise. w/ @YahooForde

Things do not look good for the Vikings...

If KU actually is punished, any chance it will be Self forcibly replaced by one of his assistants?

Not one of elites, but;

BREAKING: Georgia Tech basketball banned from the postseason in 2019-20
@DanWolken

Two Georgia Tech boosters provided impermissible benefits to the men’s basketball program.

Why I remember a certain school in Queens was expected to know if a player was paying for a gold chain at a local jewelry store. I mean how could poor Bill Self know that Adidas was cutting deals for Top 50 talent? It’s normal that these kids are so eager for the nightlife and warm weather in Lawrence Kansas that they just show up every February. :whistle:
