(POST-GAME) Seton Hall (MSG), Sat. Feb. 23, 8p, FS-1 / Sirius XM

A great, gritty, win without Heron and with Figgy ‘quiet’’ and Simon with foul troubles.
Clark and Ponds and bench came up big.
Keita and Earlngron and Simon and Clark with blocks.
Simon with killer D and heady plays.
We were sloppy at times, typical ebb and flows, but we ‘hunted’ all game and never gave up.

A fabulous win at the Garden!
also Williams had 3 blocks amazing by a 6'3 guard!
Luv this kid...hasn’t gotten confidence on offense but will get there
Celebrity row in 114 today !!! Thanks to my buddies Panther2 and Knight and Mike coming over to hang at halftime with us !
It was great seeing everyone. Atleast now my girlfriend knows that it’s men on this site. Lol

Btw, she loves Marvin, there was a video about his life. Does anyone have it handy?

Also, let’s plan a get together in Saratoga this summer.

Saratoga you say. I'm in. Just avoid the weekend. Too crowded.

Their fan base is delusional. They think a guy like Cruz is going to somehow be a SH fan because he played for the Giants. Guess what? I live in Jersey and most sports fans I know could care less about the Hall or that they've been to a few tourneys. Hall fans think they somehow capture the average NY sports fan like we do when we are having a good season. Laughable. They can't even get the average NJ sports fan.
Victor Cruz in attendance sure rattled quite a few Hall fans

Keita classy at the end not dunking the ball and just dribbling out.
Very classy indeed ... and not unnoticed. On the SH board, even a good number of Pirate fans pointed that out to their whining fellow fans who were calling us classless.

Congrats guys!, and gal fan
Let’s go Johnnies!

I think GW Jr., is a warrior, is talented, and will be a force.

Just got home. Jeez the E train only running on local track and it was a nightmare getting back to queens. But still a great night tonight with a bunch of friends. We got tickets last minute and ended up sitting on the chase bridge. I had never been up there, and it was actually a really cool way to take in a basketball game.

Great team win. Yea we stumbled a lot throughout after the huge start, but we never let it get TOO scary. I was a little nervous a towards the end but as soon as Clark buried those two free throws I knew we had it. Big game at CA this week!

So glad to see many of the regulars still posting. Thought one of us might drop from a heart attack when the lead was cut to six.

Quick notes.........

*Keita hit two BIG shots. One from the foul line and one from the corner.

*Greg Williams took a big boy charge. Really like this kid.

*Trimble played well and hit a huge three, but his technical was a serious momentum killer.

*I know he has his limitations, but Simon is extremely important to this team.

Jack, wth are you taking the subway, take the lirr, yeah a little more money, only 2 stops. What, 20minutes.
I wouldn't have the patience. Sju doesn't provide busses?

That board is lunacy. And our program has a permanent place in their heads. One of their posters pointed out that they started three separate threads about us when we were losing to Nova even though their game was on an had a similar number of threads.

We 1000000% should have taken the LIRR. Huge mistake but it wasn’t too bad cause the subway car was filled with St. John’s students.

They bus a small amount of students but you have to reserve a spot. I have a pretty big group and getting everyone to sign up would’ve been tough cause most of my friends don’t even decide whether they are going or not until the day of.

It was still a great night regardless. We are so much better than seton hall, like it’s not even close this year. The fact we blew that first game is still a shame. That should’ve been a sweep. But it felt good to win this one in front of a great crowd

I could imagine. My only complaint is it doesn’t feel like you are really a part of the games atmosphere it more just feels like you are overseeing the atmosphere and looking down on it, but it’s still really cool anyway
