Missed 90% this game trying to keep 6 year old son and 7 year old Godson/nephew from killing 3 year old nephew in Disney...can someone explain this game and box score to me? 12 blocked shots, Earlington with 11 minutes, Wiliams with 16 minutes, Heron with zero minutes. Wtf?!
It was like no other game this season, way to much to explain, Heron out again with the knee.
Thrilled with any win with this crazy inconsistent team but just wondering why Earlington has not gotten more burn. The kid playedvery well tonight. Smh.
I would say Earlington needed to work real hard to get to this level and earn his minutes. Hard work pays off. Nice job by coaching staff bringing him along.

First off enjoy Disney.
Hérons knee is sore so he dnp.
Earlington came in early and scored off a great pass by Keita. Then he blocked shots and rebounded and didn’t make mistakes and coach kept playing him in spurts. Roberts was ineffective in the few minutes he got. Trimble got in foul trouble so Williams got good burn and played his usual good d, boarded ran the o and had a couple of points. Bench came up big.

Nice summary

Maybe by the time the Big East Tournament starts we will actually have a legitimate bench? If Keita, Williams, Earlington can play like this with a little from Roberts and Trimble who knows.

Don't forget Keita came up big with blocks, rebounds and scoring too.

Really? I felt like I’ve seen this game five times already.

Marcellus has big hands and is an in your face defender. I play him more than Trimble if I were Mullin. Strength of a football player. Glad Mully used his frosh wisely in a big game. Just hope Heron recovers quickly and Figgy returns to form. That we won without Heron, Figgy playing poorly and with all 3 freshmen is bewildering when you consider we just got waxed by Providence. I give up trying to figure this team out. On to the next game.

First 10 minutes were the best we played all year. Seton Hall came back, we responded. Double digit lead until 3 minutes to go, lead down to 6, but we were able to make some free throws and put them away late. Keita was all over the place, great game for him. Coach put a lot of guys on the bench after we built the lead (up 23 at one point), fresh for crunch time. Saw some nice things from Williams, showed he has a bright future. Earlington and Keita gave us a real presence down low. Clark played like the senior on Senior night. Shamorie is getting back to normal. Heron was out with a knee issue. Tough game for LJ. Simon did a great job on Powell. Trimble did a lot of the necessary not-in the-boxscore stuff.

These last two games at the Garden tell us what SJU can be and why we love SJU basketball. Lots of energy in the building and very good effort. Just loved the passion from the start from the kids especially without Heron. Last few minutes got hairy but still solid.

Xavier in Cincy will not be easy. They are playing much better now. But with Georgetown losing today if you look at it 9-9 believe or not will probably get the 3 seed. SHU has 8 losses, they finish with games against Georgetown, Nova and Marquette. Unless they win all 3 of them they are getting to 9 losses if not more. It's crazy but yeah 9-9 will probably do it...

Maher, keep wearing your stinky clothing.
You weren't wrong, your plan worked like a charm!

It would be a fun one to watch on replay knowing we hold on. Jumped on them early almost exactly like nova did to us.

Trimble hit a 25 footer at the end of the shot clock later in the second half.

Maher needs to up his game - no showering until April 9th, and we’ll be cutting down nets!

Huge win without Heron. Keita’s best game of the season and nice to see the bench with such effort.

A great, gritty, win without Heron and with Figgy ‘quiet’’ and Simon with foul troubles.
Clark and Ponds and bench came up big.
Keita and Earlngron and Simon and Clark with blocks.
Simon with killer D and heady plays.
We were sloppy at times, typical ebb and flows, but we ‘hunted’ all game and never gave up.
A fabulous win at the Garden!

Would still like to go 2-1 in these last three so we don’t have to worry at all about an NCAA Tournament berth.
