Porter Moser

What about Moser would lead someone to believe he can build a long term winner here when he hasn’t anywhere else?
I'll ask the same about TIM.
WHAT HAS HE DONE BESIDES BESIDES DOMINATE THE MAAC.

Please can someone tell me, what has he done?
Did he ever succeed in a major conf?
And, if he's all great, why hasn't another power conf school grab him?

I would love to understand this love fest with Tim?
This is easy.
Cluess has won 7 out of every 10 games he’s coached.
Moser has won 5 of 10.
Next?

Funny, but seriously I checked out Ramblermania and they are not happy. They like him a lot.

Sources: There's a bit of a power struggle at @StJohnsBBall between Joe Oliva, who favors Porter Moser, and Mike Cragg, who wants Tim Cluess.

The last month has been beyond embarrassing. Oliva is a clown. As the kids say, "stay in your lane".

And the new coach of the University of St. John's is ......

First question on the interview; Are you moving your family to New York and living here 12 months a year for the rest of your life?

If exactly true, then Cragg may not stick around too long unless there's some sort of common ground or compromisation.

This is also the kind of info that is incendiary. Not a particularly a good look to report either.

FWIW one of the points the Loyola fans are hanging on to say Moser won't go is that he has said he wants his kids to finish school in Chicago. Here we go again.

LOL

No idea how he would do here but just think of this. With his magical run to the Final 4 he won more NCAA games than SJU and Cluess combined over the last 20 years.

How sad is that???

Kind of hope he turns it down
Only to drag Oliva thru the mud some more

Oliva shouldn't have a say at all and is responsible for the past 4 years more than Mullin was. Where is our no balls President?

Not sticking around is something I predicted the other day. Seemed like a candidate was being forced down his throat. I actually thought it was Cluess that was being pushed on him though.

Once again, not a good look.

Did “Zagora” really say Moser would be an epic disaster ?

Also from the Loyola board. This one is more encouraging........
