Orlando Sanchez

No they had a better way, used clout the L. A. Times

Really? I suggested a few weeks back that someone with connections at a media outlet should "suggest" an inquiry...unless we think there is some legit obstacles

I yearn for the days when there were at least baseless rumors of imminent decision eligibility.

Does anyone have a sense of whether the ball is on Orlando's court to provide info or whether it is just a case of the NCAA having the unmitigated gall to drag this decision out

They have continually asked and we have provided.

As I said, unmitigated gall!!!

I just saw an apparition of Orlando Sanchez in my room, saying "I am the chosen one. I will see you during conference play"...could be real or just me being delusional from finals week papers.

How's that for a baseless rumor? ;)

This saga has gone on long enough, it's time for the NCAA to make a call here. It's ridiculous now

the 1st semester has come and gone and still no decision. This is a decision that should be made before the semester even begins yet here it's come to an end and we're still waiting. This is maddening. If it were me in Orlando's shoes I'd probably be in the NCAA offices smashing furniture and causing all kinds of havoc.

What happens if this is his last year of eligibility due to age, and they clear him the 2nd to last game of the season?

Btw, who was buried in Grant's tomb?

People answer that wrong all the time, because Mrs. Grant is there too.

No one is buried in Gran'ts tomb. President Grant and his wife Julia are entombed in Grant's tomb but nobody is buried there.

Haha very true. I actually went uptown in Morningside Heights last year to see it up close. Pretty cool. I was shocked they let you so close to the caskets.

I feel like someone needs to start a "Free Orlando" campaign like they have with Myck Kabongo (Bilas tweeted about it today). Maybe get the entire student section to wear Free Orlando shirts at the game on Saturday. This has just become absurd.

I actually was thinking today about a " free orlando" facebook website and an online petition to send to the NCAA. Its probably against some NCAA bylaw though. I have a highschool classmate who writes for one of the major papers locally covering a Big East School affected like us. I could get him on anything we start up.

I teach my CCD kids about Advent as preparing for the important event of Christmas . Perhaps during Advent we will get a visit from the Wise Men of the NCAA !!!!!!!

I would be careful with the use of the term "wise men" when speaking of the NCAA
