He doesn't need to be Ennis. Being Jordan is just fine
A sick pass. As, Beast stated, "Brass."
Something wrong with guys thinking they just gatta keep knocking Dom. He was 4-5 from the field, made a couple of big free throws, got us 6 boards and a couple of assists. And Dom catches the INT.

Great freaking pass.
I know it's impossible to stop a play and not see Dom in the same spot, but look where my favorite guy is on that play. You'd think he' s a 40% 3-pt shooter the way he's set behind the 3 pt line with his hands out looking for a pass. And look at the respect he gets...nobody within 15 feet of him or even paying attention to him. That's really got to make things easy on his teammates.

That's why when Greene is in the game, he is left open a lot as well and has been knocking down that shot this year.
Too bad, but from what I've read in a number of threads on this forum, insider information has it that both guys involved in this play -- CO and Lawrence -- will be transferring at the end of year. Hmm. Keep wondering where they'll both end up.
Dom is one of the few on the team who doesn't take any plays off. He's not an all american. So what? If the others wanted it as much as Dom, we'd be in the top ten right now.

Umm...actually Dom takes every single shot off on offense. He doesn't even attempt to get offensive rebounds. Once in a while one will bounce to him, but he'll never go for one. You saw what Jordan did at the end by charging in the lane from the three point line to wrestle away that offensive rebound? Dom wouldn't have moved an inch or awkwardly jumped in place. That's not hustle...that is lazy. We could live without Jordan putting in the extra effort because he is a PG and has a bigger responsibility to get back on defense...but Dom's lack of hustle is really hurting this team.
On defense he gives up too easy as well. As soon as he's beat he stands up straight and lets his man go by him looking for a block. He never plays screens right either....he runs around them instead of staying close to his man and going over top. It's lazy across the board and he doesn't like contact.

Hello Georgetown
Dom doesn't hustle and he sucks on offense. Don't be fooled by a couple of successful drives against SH, he is not a good slasher. His nickname should be Speilberg because he literally just stands on the perimeter directing. A guy drives from the other side of the floor and where is Dom? Hands up, feet set two feet behind the 3 pt line like he's Hooper or some kind of necessary safety valve. I've never seen a SF cut less or stand around more than Dom Pointer. Ever. If he was dedicated to be the garbage man he would have all-American potential and we could be damn near unstoppable. The weird thing about Dom is that he has a pretty jump stop and he has decent control in the lane...it's just that his handle is woeful and he is a very long strider.
Jordan, on the other hand, is our actual point guard, and he goes after loose balls and offensive rebounds like a mad man. We probably don't win if he doesn't come charging in possessed from beyond the 3 pt line for the offensive rebound in the lane, then follows his own miss for another offensive rebound to get the foul and sink the two FTs. Dom doesn't do that. Our 98/99 and 99/00 teams did that every game. Jordan really reminds me of those guys.
