NIL’s

In case anyone out there still doubts the insane numbers being offered to kids, 14.1 points and 3.8 assists at Bucknell gets you $250,000.

Tip of the iceberg! Give it a few more years as the coaches begin to navigate the loopholes of NIL. You ain’t seen nothing yet!

That website that was showing kids nil value at the end of the season was so wrong it must have been run by one of Putins generals who planned the Ukraine invasion

Politicians will really F this up more:

One thing is clear: There needs to be a regulatory body to provide oversight in addition to uniform regulations. Having different state laws regarding NILs add to.competitive imbalance, and there needs to be some process of audited financial records being made available for public disclosure. As is, the PM pMiami thing was likely to happen and guarantee you that just as there are some so-called charities that burn donations on high salaries, and questionable expenses, for certain this is likely occurring within some collectives.

Unfortunately, and I don’t disagree at all with you in principal, whatever oversight regulatory system is put in place, 3 or 4 years after that we will be asking, who’s regulating the regulators? As Dylan wrote, “Money doesn’t talk, it swears”.

has It been brought up how big NILs affect title IX & women’s sports funding ?
Football & Men’s basketball generally have been profitable for all colleges.
These profits have generally paid for required title IX women’s sports.

will colleges be forced to reduce Or eliminate non profitable men’s & women’s
programs because NIL has made football & basketball less of a cash cow ?
