New York Mets-2018

If ever there was an early season game where one team appeared on the verge of running away, Nats served notice on the Mets last night. Horrible loss and they must recover quickly or early season streak will quickly devalue.

Big win tonight to wipe that taste away. Have to do something at catcher. Otherwise if you are hitting pitcher 9th, you have a dead spot at 7th and 8th in order.

Big win tonight is necessary. Cannot let last night’s game become “the turning point of the season”.

ughhh what an ugly game. So many guys left on base in scorers position

Very frustrating. Just can't get a big hit. Nats just chip away, one by one.

I was frustated by last night's game. Tonight was disappointing as well. I still would have signed up for a 12-4 start any day of the week. Lets see where the rest of the month takes us.

that's really funny in a simple and complex way. My over/under is 40 wins.

Because the 12-2 start spoiled us.

We probably all expected 8-8 or 9-7

After the last couple of days no one could be blamed into sensing that Mets were on the verge of collapsing after a decent start. Then out of almost nowhere they get 9 runs in the 8th inning. Turns it into a very positive Mets win and they are now 13-4 overall and 4-2 vs. Nats. We might have a chance at a long hot summer after all. Still a lot to find out about the Mets in this upcoming 10 game trip ATL, STL, and SD is no cakewalk.

Big win tonight. Long season and I try not to get too excited game by game.

I know its early but we really needed that comeback last night. Getting swept after the Monday night meltdown wouldn't bode well prior to a long road trip.

Along with my Mets paranoia I have a vague sense that the bottom half of our pitching rotation is named Harvey, Matz, and Wheeler.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is the first to go down to Vegas. Boras will be livid.

Going to be interesting, he should be the one but he can refuse to go and I believe he will. Remember getting serious flack when a couple of years ago (pre injuries) I insisted Mets should trade him.
