New York Mets-2018
Man we gotta find a way to keep Nimmo up here
Wish he or Flores of could be our catcher.

Right now the Mets just find a way to win. 12-2 and the Nats coming in. Just hope they can keep the good times rolling.

At least we missed Scherzer again.

Still hoping our starters go longer in the game. Shame Matz and Thor can't hold on runners but at least Harvey tried last game.
Jack, most fans are much too focused on the catcher. Now its true that both TDA/Plaw have terrible throwing arms, but most of the time the bases that were stolen were clearly stolen off the pitchers. Johnny Bench wasn't throwing them out. After his last start, Matz seemed to admit it but of course rhetorically asked "if any scored". He doesn't seem concerned but this is something they need to work on as it will catch up to them at some point.
For sure. And to think lefties have better pick off moves - not Matz. Probably should have been fixed in the minors.

A sweep and they can bury the nats for a couple of months at least. Murphy still out no? Of course they can let them right back in also.

Facing Gonzalez tonight, another pitcher we do not fare well against. Like to see Cespedes go after the first pitch, especially since the pitcher will try to throw a strike. Obviously swinging at bad pitches in the dirt later in the count. Hopefully the right hand bats of Cabrera, Flores and Frazier spoil Gonzalez' night. Going to need some contact from both Loboton and Nido.

Even better its Hellickson vs deGrom, Gio vs Wheeler and Matz vs Roark. No Strasburg.

Its Hellickson for Gnats. Cespedes is getting a day off (slumping) and Bruce is out with plantar fasciitis. Bruce will go tomorrow (allegedly).

Beast, Murph is still out. I believe they said maybe in May. I think he is recovering from microfracture.

Uh, I cringe when I see Lobaton. He is a ZERO. No hit and not really great on D. Let's just say he occupies a spot in the Lineup. :S

This will get ownership's attention

And the Jets complete the trifecta!

That was a horror show. Sometimes you can't make it up. Nothing to do but hope they bounce back tomorrow.

OMG. Two seconds after I posted this I scroll down and their is a link to a recap of the 71-52 LOSS to Incarnate Word! Why would anyone want to review that debacle!

Hard to describe that in words except to say it feels like crap in the pit of your stomach and reaches all the way to the back of your throat
