Damn that Figueroa kid can play

I mistakenly thought our first-team Juco All-American recruit, Cole, would replace L.J.

Well, they both slinked out of town.

*Ducks before Mase can throw something at my head*

Announcers said Jefferson of Creighton is bringing a physical presence to the paint after he made a layup and on the next possession, he drives and the Ohio players backed away like they were scared to take a charge from him.

Monte posted that he thought Suggs will make a great pro and based on his past history he is probably right. I recently moved from Garden City to Columbus Ohio where college football is God and learned when Suggs was a sophomore in high school Urban Meyer went to his house telling Suggs if he accepted a scholarship to Ohio State he would start at quarterback.
As it turned out Ohio State had Fields at quarterback so he probably would have been a backup for a season before starting but Suggs won both the top basketball and football player in the state of Minn last year.

Creighton has a comfortable 20 point lead over Ohio with 14:40 left to play. Hope it holds up.

If Michigan and Maryland both lose it’d so awesome lol

9 teams in none to the Sweet 16
I am also onboard and rooting for a complete Big Ten implosion. I don't care if it's petty. After all the talk about what an amazing conference it is this season and how down the Big East is, it would be fantastic to get 2 teams in the Sweet 16 and have them get shut out.

Is it still called Columbus? /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png Actually it's supposed to be a great city. Hope you're enjoying it there so far.

I'm probably in the small minority here when I say ; I could care less what other conferences do. I barely even care much what our conference does.

Columbus is very much like Long Island. People are friendly, weather is similar. It is growing in leaps and bounds and that could lead to problems just like LI . They have to be careful to control the expansion.
One thing they can’t control is the support of the Buckeye football program. It is mind boggling.

Sweet 16 for Creighton, had 5 guys in double figures, but not much from bench. Foul trouble will probably rear its head v Zags.

Villanova and Creighton can thank the basketball gods for making it to the Sweet 16.

Villanova beats 12 seed Winthrop and 13 seed North Texas
Creighton beats 12 seed UCSB and 13 seed Ohio U, but Gonzaga awaits.

Glad that Creighton shook off the Georgetown loss in the BE Tournament.

I didn't expect them to make a run in the NCAA Tournament. It's a nice surprise.

LSU is playing well against a better team. Their tied 43-43 with Michigan with 19:40 left.

Believe this is first time since the new BE was formed in 2014 that we have multiple teams in the Sweet 16 and also a first that a team other than Nova made it to Sweet 16 from the new BE.

Thought Creighton underachieved this year. Thought parts were greater then sum. Also thought that the issue with McDermott may have carried over to the tournament. It hasn't. Kudos to coach and kids, and I'm hoping they can pull an upset over Gonzaga. Not going to be easy.

how you feeling about your boys taking on Oral Roberts?

one hand it’s always good to be favored in the sweet 16 cause I feel like the second weekend is usually when the Cinderellas come back down to earth.

but at the same time I watched those two ORU games and was completely impressed by their two headed monster. Abmas is everything a college point guard should be. Quick, can run for 40 minutes it feels like, and always makes the right play. Obanor is the perfect running mate for him. Their pick and pop is lethal.

I feel like the razorbacks will get it done but I can’t wait for that one I think it’ll be good
