Don't be so sensitive..... I was merely referring to one comment re. people complaining about Anderson's late game strategies and equating a rookie head coach with him. McDermott continuing to show what a great coach he is as Creighton is staying right with Number 1 seed Kansas late in the first half. Kaluma , Hawkins and O’Connell are both having a great game so far. Another great game so far.
Creighton may not win this, but McDermott really has ability to adapt to situations, like losing key players to injuries and/or fouls. Some coaches reference “next man up” credo, but McD backs it up with excellent game preparation, tactics and quiet leadership. He seems to instill confidence in his players when badly needed. Big East is fortunate to have him.

Wow Kudos to Creighton playing without all frosh Ryan Nembhard and Kalkbrenner and they are right there with Kansas. Kaluma is a future star as Creighton has to be the pre season favorite in the Big East next year. Great coaching by McDermitt.
My biggest early round upset picks in the bracket I am in down here were Murray State to knock off Kentucky and UNC to beat Baylor (also had Iowa going to Elite 8 so it all evens out). As it turns out, Murray State now has to knock off St. Peter's rather than Kentucky to advance! Will watch that one being happy either way lol.
