NCAA Breakdown & Matchups

Is this true? Buffalo crushes Arizona by 21 points! There is a God!
Down goes Zona!!!!

It was a close first half then with about 15 minutes to go in the game Buffalo started increasing the lead and eventually pulled away.
Nate Oats. Remember his name because this young (43) coach can flat out coach basketball.
His players closed out on the Arizona shooters in precision movement. They shared the ball and outplayed 3 future NBA players. Coach Oats just got a raise and extension at $330,000 per year.
He just moved to the top of my list if Mullin bombs next season. My wife's sister-in-law's son is a junior pharmacy major at Buffalo and grew up a St. John's fan since both parents are alums and now will rub salt into our wound.

I was kind of hoping Zona would win it all and then cause the NCAA to implode when wiretaps are released.

This is a very embarrassing loss for Miller and Arizona. The dominoes may start falling sooner than expected in Tucson.

Brandon Randolph can come transfer back to the east coast :)

at the point he should just stay at Arizona cause he's gonna be playing 40 minutes a game next season and can really showcase his game. I saw something that Ariz has 6 players on board for next season and no recruits coming in

Not NCAA T, but interesting tidbit reflecting college hoops potential practice perhaps. From So. Cal Twitter account;

Statement from USC head coach Andy Enfield: “Chimezie Metu has made a personal decision not to participate in the NIT as a precautionary measure to eliminate the risk of injury leading up to the NBA Draft.”
In FCKG credible!
One of the factors we used to fire Lavin was the absence of Obekpa in an NCAA game. AND poor Obekpa was grounded for taking an extra toke out of the bong that Rysheed Jordan passed to him. Luck of the draw.:( ;)
Having seen that SDSU game in person, having one extra healthy body plus the size of Obekpa, I think we'd have won that game, and possibly maybe it to Sweet 16. In that case, Lavs would never have been fired at that point.

I think our journey was coming to an end quickly even if we beat SDSU. Duke won the whole thing that year and Coach K had seen us once before during the season and probably would've swiftly outcoached Lavs. Water under the bridge though.

It is nice to see Lavin as an announcer for some of the tournament games, he's very good at it.

Cooley's Friars just came back from 8 down to tie it up with 9 minutes to go. Nice distraction from our drama.

Not getting game, but see it up in the box grid on top of screen. Still hanging in, down by 3, with 442 left.

A&M’ size & strength too much for PC. Also PC’s offense has been stagnant a lot this year.

I think I jinxed them with my post! PC now down 10 with 2 minutes left. Looks like first loss for BE.
down 7 I think now. Aggies just hit a couple. slipping away
Down 8 with 1:22 to go. Big disappointment. Thought they had great momentum going into tourney.

SEC 5-0 thus far

Impressive. Hoping Butler can make that 5-1 with a win over Arkansas in 3 pm game!

Could be a ‘shocker’. Still up by 5 with 29 seconds left, Wichita at the line.

Didn't shoot the 3 like they do against us and they had a number of open looks.
