When Mullin came on, he talked about hitting all the gyms in the city, but after three years -- and I could be wrong -- it looks likes he hasn't built any strong relationships with local programs (all the more reason to lament Slice's firing), and instead he's filling the roster with transfers and kids not from the tri-state area. Here's hoping he realizes that he needs a staff change and we don't read about him in past tense like this remark about Mark Jackson in today's NY Post:
"Jackson admitted after the firing the breaking point came when he refused to revamp his coaching staff upon ownership’s request."[/quote] unless Richmond leaves on his own the recruiting staff isn't changing
