I wouldn't share anything with you. I was raised to stay away from people with questionable ethics and values.

[quote="Class of 72" post=302628]"Let it be" was the 12th and final studio album of the Beatles. We are glad you enjoyed listening to it after reading the " Mullin" thread. After this impressive win coach Mullin has satisfied and silenced all the critics. We will now stop analyzing St. John's basketball, just enjoy, enjoy and enjoy some more what is in front of us. Thank you Paul [strike]McCartney[/strike] Massell for having provided this fan site to express our views. It won't be needed any longer. You can now enjoy your long and we'll earned retirement from having to maintain this site.

Off topic, but to set the record (no pun intended) straight, "Let It Be" was last studio album released by the Beatles, but "Abbey Road" was the last one they recorded.

Now THIS is the kind of in-depth, fact-based analysis that keeps me coming back here. B) B) B) B) B)

Maybe '72 should share a wrench with you so you can loosen up a bit.

Threat?

And not so dim-witted that I know the word is hyphenated.

The thing isn't so much personal attacks as much as some refuse to be critical of our play, or strategy, or limit even to roster compilation as to then draw conclusions as to the work ethic, intellect, and ability or bbn our staff.

Want to discuss the merits of pressing, or going zone for parts of the game, great. Be critical of ball movement, defense, or shot selection, ok. Anything basketball related is really within bounds. Even the egregious - discuss why a player quit or transferred .

But here, for some, all roads lead back to nm our coach being stupid, lazy. Overpaid, Inexperienced,. Stubborn, inept. AWOL, etc. It's tiresome and non productice.

One even asserted that any of us could coach this team better, just about as stupid a comment as all, and worthy of a personal retort.

So ya, when more than a few continually represent that they want this coach and team to succeed but resort to the same old dumb assaults on his dedication, interest and any other personal attack. It's just unwarranted

Did you think it was a good look when St. Jean was doing all the coaching in the huddle? Slice certainly didn't. I don't think it's unwarranted if someone expresses concern over staff engagement. If that's what they want from a staff, that's what they want.

Honestly, it's not even showing concern that the issue. It's the constant cheap shots that are constantly being thrown.

For example, Lawmanfan is amazing at expressing concern in a productive way. He doesn't throw cheap shots.

Most posts have something to contribute the ones that do not or parts that most would deem inappropriate I just filter out since you are not going to changes ones position too often

I'm confused! Are you referring to the posts about Steve Lavin on this site during his last THREE YEARS at St. John's?
Not only was that modus operandi here but a guy with a broken mailbox almost won a Pulitzer here for his attacks on Lavin that included mocking his cancer, the death of his father and the unworthiness of having a young hot wife. If that wasn't personal then English must be a second language for some experts here. I have never seen the words lazy, stupid and inept used to describe Chris Mullin in one posting but you managed to do it. If ball movement, shot selection, 3 point defense, recruiting, players leaving and why never should circle back to Mullin then a dozen sociopaths here should write apology letters to the previous staff and their families.
Any true fan here wants the team to win. When we lose, which has been more the norm, please don't expect fans to just blame the kids. The adults on the team are collecting millions to take heat. They seemingly take that heat better than some keyboard critics.

If you guys can't get along and stop this insanity, I'll be glad to lock this thread.

That F'in loser! The same dude who went "minstrel show" on Tariq Owens' dad, eh? Anyone who liked his post-game diatribes on BEB.... F 'em, too!

Oh! He wasn't the only person who decided to blitz Lavin with personal rants. There are a few others, but I digress.
