Coach has mentioned that a few times now.
It's a solid go-to quip.

He actually did not repeat it during the Met game interview, it was mentioned by Met play by play announcer to Keith Hernandez after the CMA interview.

Coach;
If the Islanders can make it back to Brooklyn - perhaps you can make an appearance there at Barkley’s Center.
This past week or so: All Good!
IMO
We could not have asked or expected more :)
You are already in our hearts and in the St. John’s family!!!

Congratulations to coach Anderson for being selected to throw out the first pitch at a game at Citi Field.

Below is a video to a very memorable first pitch.
Nice interview. Coach MA mentioned not run and gun but run and execute. Love it.
Also mentioned they were going to pick up the opposition as they get off their bus. Got to love his interest in defense as well as the attraction of Madison Square Garden. He makes you feel like he loves it here and will be around for a long time. Really appreciates getting this opportunity.

Coach Carnesecca is also expected to attend.
Very glad to see that CMA is integrating himself into the local area so quickly
The connections he makes and the positive press he receives can only help him and us
He has been to more events in 2 weeks than most of our prior coaches have in years
Good for you, CMA!! Keep up the good work. It will pay off down the road

To be fair, Coach Mullin attended a bunch of local events in his first few weeks/months on the job.

Good to see a coach at sju showing up at events, net working, gotta go to every big event, and if you can't, then send an ac.
If these big time ny h.s. coaches, and the coaches of the big time aau proframs saying: " damn the new sju coach isn't playing.
It's how you start to become a monster like we used to be.
If he continues to show up for years and not months, he'll get us to the levels of the 80s, maybe even better with a championship or 2.
