I am convinced some posters just come on here to use it as a vomitorium.

I feel like he'd have a problem with Jones and Hewitt as well, but not for the same reasons the rest of us were against them.

The interview made me think that there is going to be a bit more turnover than we imagine, maybe he was alluding to LJ, but he did mention that nothing is set in stone in terms of players returning.
CMA not taking any crap from me first players. Wants players who want to be here. Buying in and having a team mentality will determine who survives.
From what I’ve heard there was a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes re me first between players this past season.
It was evident from their play down the stretch. Chemistry got ruined and Mulls had no control of it at most times. I don’t know who nor why, but we didn’t play like a team late in he season and didn’t seem to get along. I do t wanna see that type of team any longer. Too talented, but couldn’t get out of our own way.

Mullin’s biggest flaw was treating players as men; most of them proved to be not able to handle that responsibility.

100% correct. The biggest issue on the former staff from beginning to end was that they tried to run a college team with an NBA approach. It may have ultimately been successful as a playing/recruiting strategy, but you still have to provide college kids with structure, discipline and fundamental coaching. That never happened and not only did it show up in their play, it increasingly showed up in their cohesion or lack thereof.

I don't consider that a flaw on Mullin's part. I see that as a flaw on the players part.

For me, Mullins biggest flaw(s) were that he had no idea how to build and manage a staff so that it worked TOGETHER. That, and he didn't recruit.

Sorry not going to blame a bunch of college kids for not being more mature than their years as I agree with the poster who said as college kids they needed direction and structure. Plus if you see things aren't working one way maybe change things up a bit.

Nice to see CMA getting out there trying to drum up interest in the team and expand the fan base (but having Johnny Thunderbird there may be counter productive ).

I just heard that Johnny Thunderbird removed his head and it was Hsu inside the costume. And then he started twerking.

I'm glad I know zero about this Hsu guy. Seems like too much energy spent already discussing him. Coach K's nephew intrigues me however as he appears to be a great mentor who comes from good bloodlines. Getting CJ was Big imo. Coach Anderson needs a close devoted assistant and he didn't have to look far. The other two will make this a great staff no matter who they are. Let's remember Matt and Mitch did not coach and only Matt recruited. By next week I think we will be praising the staff.
