Trashed him for laziness. He disappeared all summer.
I'm referring to the extension, which truly was offered for no reason. No good reason, that is.
I think it was Shanley more than Cragg but honestly that’s just speculation but Shan has told people he wasn’t happy with the results he’s not such a place it close to the best guy not as diplomatic from what my limited interactions with him were. But like Ivsaid before I’m a Cragg fan
Sometimes things just don't work out. Admire CMA for many reasons and his teams were almost always competitive. Best wishes and thank you for your efforts Coach Anderson and for re-establishing ties with some of the best local HS programs.
Let's see if Pitino can win with Anderson's players.
I suspect some players won't be at St. John's next season for one reason or another. If Pitino indeed come aboard; he'll have us in place to land some solid transfers.

Thought it would work out. Unfortunate it did not. CMA is a class act, represented the program well, and seemingly worked hard to make this program better (and, yes, I know he was compensated significantly to do that, but so are all high major coaches, and we know from past experience there are plenty who don't). Wish him well.

Gotta think this was done as a pre-emptive strike due to the Georgetown opening. Either way I’m happy this wasn’t dragged out and maybe we get a coach who can coach. Hopefully we can keep the guys who want to stay and the guys that are coming in.

I get that but don’t understand thanking a coach for failing. He got paid, things go bad they got fired. Part of the gig. Thanking him is goofy.

Because Anderson actually tried to do his job and was not half a***ing it unlike Mullin.
