Mets

Anyone know if Rose wins money gambling? He just picked the Royals in five.

Newsman13 retires from Fox and now they can't even broadcast a freaking world series game right

You can't have 3 worse at bats than Murphy, Cespedes, and Duda just took. Last 5 Mets outs were K's. Why take Niese out?

No clue why they took Niese out. He was pitching real well and could have given long innings

I want to puke

Two errors on routine plays by two of the Mets better fielders did them in. They can call Cespedes play a home run all they want, it was a routine fly ball. Tough, terrible loss, the Mets didn't even bring their "B" game.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm at my desk in a shitty ass mood still. I believe if both teams are at their best, we will prevail. The problem is they are always consistently in high gear. The "highest gear" is irrelevant if we can't get up to it

Last night sucked. Just a bunch of kicks to the nuts. Lose today and series is over. Would have been great to have a 1-0 lead with DeGrom vs a very ordinary Cueto (who will probably now no-hit us).

I'm confident that Degrom will right the ship tonight. He is 3-0 on the road in postseason. Also on the plus side what do the Royals do for game 4 starter? Young threw a lot of pitches. Royals really used up their pen tonight and will be reluctant to go to it early.

Tough loss but it shows they are not over-matched.

Cueto was very poor in his last start. He looked like a guy that is exhausted. Mets should be able to do some damage.

Great showing by Mets fans in KC, especially that one section that was swarmed in orange. How did they pull that off?

These two teams are an excellent match up, I was impressed with their relievers but I didn't think any of them were unhitable. I see us hitting Young, Madsen and Hochevar next time. I think we come out strong tonight and chase Cueto out early.

I liked Colon in at the end. We had no other viable option. I didn't mind yanking Niese. He was pitching well, but I wasn't confident he'd continue. All in all we were one Familia slam the door away from a win. Bats went to sleep after we scored the 4th run.

If nothing else, West Coast living is great for sporting events that run long.

And for Sunday football. I was texting with my brother at 1:30 last night. He still got a full night of sleep out there while I got 5 hours.

True but I didn't get home from work until the 4th inning.

As an A's fan I've been telling everyone that would listen, from the moment you guys acquired Cespy, that he is the most frustrating good and bad player in the league. That play in the first inning last night was just so typically Yo. That said it would be typically Yo for him to hit a 3 run shot tonight as well and win you the game. I'll always have a special place in my heart for him (as his signing started 3 years of fun in oakland) and I hope he leads you guys to glory over the Royals, but he's the most exciting and horrifying player in the baseball. Also he's not a center fielder, we found that out in spring training in 2012 but it seems he still gets looks at CF everywhere he goes.
