forecasting rain all day in KC tomorrow. If it does rainout that means they play 5 days in a row as they lose the Thursday off day which means either Harvey goes on 3 days rest on Sunday or they go to a 5th starter. I don't think there's any shot Harvey goes on 3 days.

Great analysis. Do you think they rearrange the rotation if there is a rainout and have deGrom go game 1?
 
waiting for redmen.com's very own weatherman to land in kc ( he is currently mid flight ).

He'll get to the bottom of this weather stuff.
 
Pretty sure the game can get played but possibly would require a rain delay. Anyone in ad sales know if this changes the pricing on advertisements? That could determine if the game gets played.

I'd hate to pay $400 to sit through a rain soaked affair in October. It will be cold and damp. It was bad enough for the prior two games at Citi - it was much more like football weather

No. The Mets seem to want to get deGrom more rest as they think he's a little worn out and on the flipside Harvey struggles with too much rest which is already the case so they don't want to push him back even more. Lets all hope the rain holds off

Mets in 7. Harvey comes out of the pen and pitches the last three innings for the win in game 7. Boras gets arrested as he tries to get on the field and tackle Harvey before he gets to the pitchers mound.
 
Mets in 7. Uribe on World Series roster in place of Reynolds. Not sure who plays SS if Flores gets hurt.
 
If Flores is hurt to the point they can DL him, then they can roster Reynolds as an injury replacement again. If he gets hurt during a game, I'm guessing Kelly Johnson.
 
If the World Series goes to game 7, there is a conflict with the STAC exhibition game.

That post got me more excited about the fact that actual hoops is coming up than I am for the world series. Roll 'em out and lets see what we got. Can't Wait! Oh and LGM.
 
Actually met three amazing Mets fans on my flight to STL who were headed to KC and the game tonight. All three are humongous Mets fans and each are also Redmen fans who sign on here.

I promised a shoutout to Sean N. from West hempstead who grew up with his cousin and one of his best friends in the shadow of Carnesecca Arena, and who are also huge Johnnies fans. So weatherman is not alone - unless weatherman is Sean N. or one of the other guys.

These guys had photos from the NY Post where they got their mugs in the paper after MEts celebrations during the playoffs.

OH YEA! And the most awesome thing about these guys is that after I chatted with them during the flight, they asked me if I wanted to go to the game with them because they had an extra ticket. One of them offered and the other two chimed in, "Yea, come on, we'd love to have you."

Are there better fans in the world than Met's fans? YES! Met fans that are also Redmen fans!!!
