Let's all put next year's issues on hold and just thoroughly enjoy what has evolved this season.
Last night's win was off the charts. I admit, I went elsewhere with the TV at 7-1. Just thought it wasn't their day, and go get them tomorrow. But something made me turn back unsolicited to check the score. And there they are in the middle of that crazy seventh inning.
I didn't know if I should turn the channel again, fearing I would cause a cataclysmic disturbance and be a rally killer. But this team, can turn the dark cloud hanging over my head into a bright, sunny day.
The Mets are getting closer and closer to extending "meaningful games in September" into October.
Oh yeah, screw the Nats. They are an insufferable group. Talented yes, but equally douchnozzle.

Just win tonight and take 3 of 4 in Atlanta and its all over.
Awesome win last night. Probably the best game of the year. Who didn't think the game was over at 7-1. Imagine how much Harvey would've been blasted if the Mets lost last night. The comeback win really saved the Dark Night some really bad press. Nobody is even talking about his putrid outing just the miracle comeback.
