Have to think this loss tonight is going to haunt this team. Even more than Sat night loss when Terry was "distracted" and forgot to pinch run Flores on second in the top 8th.
 
TJ have a day! Since this probably will jinx us I'll counter that by saying Robles will definitely blow this
 
Some of you guys had me believing the Mets had already lost and then I check my phone and see they won in 10 innings. Hope none of you are prison guards in charge of answering the phone for any last second reprieves from the governor for prisoners about to be executed. ;) :)

Yessir! And while SF and Stl. play 4 this weekend; the Mets play Minnesota who have the worst record in baseball I believe.

Wish I was. Unfortunately, been one since their first year 1962. Never forget the back page headline in the NY Daily News...40-120.

Thx. Wont work on my old school flip phone but my laptop that could come in handy although this vacation half the time we didnt even have internet. Southern Peru I missed 2 of my fantasy football drafts because of no internet but they sure as hell had the Peru-Vs Ecuador soccer game on everywhere :)

In Quito the internet is awesome at this hotel. Much better than most places in south america
 
Who do we root for regarding Cards vs. Giants? I thinking StL, as MadBum scares me in a one game playoff. A sweep (either way) would be acceptable

Could be the most important weekend of the season for us. Cards win tonight and its a 3 way tie I believe. Mets have to take care of their own business and if they sweep will wake up Monday picking up at least 2 games.
 
Mets fire Triple-A manager Wally Backman, citing 'pattern of defiance'
